MTrec’s new career opportunity \n Our client are specilaists in their industry sector, they are looking to recruit a Calibration and Test Technician on a permanent basis. \n The Job you’ll do \n\n • Responsible for the assembly, repair, calibration and packing of all products in line with specification.\n, • Assembling products as directed and in line with approved drawings.\n, • Ensuring all products are built to specification and meet the quality standards defined.\n, • Ability to understand simple wiring diagrams.\n, • Repairing products in line with company procedures.\n, • Calibrating products in line with company procedures.\n, • Packing products in line with company procedures.\n, • Ensuring all Health and Safety guidelines are adhered to.\n, • Undertaking both internal and external training in line with the company skills matrix requirements.\n, • Ensuring all equipment and tooling used for the work are fit for purpose.\n, • Ensuring that the MRP system (Odoo) is accurately updated.\n, • Provide input into internal audits and contribute to continuous improvement. This to include identifying errors or technical problems that may arise.\n, • Ensuring that all workspaces are kept tidy and manageable.\n, • Ability to support other departments on the shop floor when needed.\n\n About You \n\n • Educated to GCSE/NVQ level 2 and above.\n, • Ability to interpret technical documentation/drawings.\n, • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain a high standard of work.\n, • PC literate.\n, • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.\n, • Soldering experience – through-hole, basic SMD, wire-to-wire.\n, • Experience of working in a small to medium-sized company.\n, • Experience working within a regulated industry.\n, • Experience in operating equipment in a machine shop i.e., Lathe, Pillar drills, Bench grinder etc.\n, • Experience of PCB testing & fault finding an advantage.\n, • Experience in drilling/tapping of metal work.\n, • Minimum of 5 years in a Mechanical/Engineering/Production environment.\n, • Working Hours -Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 5.00pm.
