We are looking to strengthen our Construction team with a Civil Site Supervisor, near Pontersbury on a permanent basis.As a Site Civil Supervisor, you'll oversee the safe and efficient delivery of civil works across our water and wastewater infrastructure project, worth over 5 million pounds. Working closely with Site and Construction Managers, you'll manage direct labour and subcontractors on site, ensuring all activities meet safety, quality, and environmental standards. You'll play a key role in planning, supervising, and driving progress, while promoting best practice and fostering a proactive safety culture.What You'll Be DoingSupervise and coordinate the daily activities of site operatives and subcontractorsEnsure compliance with requirements, statutory regulations, and approved method statementsCarry out site inspections, toolbox talks, and pre-start briefings to embed a strong safety cultureMonitor temporary works, plant checks, permits, and ensure all works are delivered safely and compliantlyLead by example on site, actively promoting near-miss reporting and good housekeeping standardsDrive quality by ensuring inspection and test plans are followed and works are "right first time"Track and report daily progress, resolving any issues that could affect delivery or budgetOrder, coordinate, and manage construction plant and materials efficientlySupport and mentor site teams, encouraging knowledge sharing and professional growthBuild strong relationships with colleagues, subcontractors, customers, and the public, maintaining respect and professionalism at all timesAbout The Candidate:We're seeking a proactive and experienced Site Civil Supervisor who can lead from the front.
