Management Accountant \n We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join the finance team on a part-time basis. \n Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting month-end processes, maintaining balance sheet integrity, and providing valuable financial insight to support business decision-making. \n This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated finance professional who enjoys working collaboratively within a growing manufacturing environment while taking ownership of key accounting responsibilities. \n Key Responsibilities \n\n • Produce accurate month-end management accounts, including bank reconciliations, accruals and prepayments.\n, • Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register.\n, • Prepare and produce the Closed Job Report for review with the wider team.\n, • Prepare, produce and review the monthly revenue recognition report.\n, • Produce cost centre reports for the management team and respond to ad hoc financial queries.\n, • Process the weekly supplier payment run.\n, • Work closely with the Finance Assistant to ensure the accurate processing of purchase and sales invoices.\n, • Assist with year-end audit preparation and external audit requirements.\n, • Carry out ad hoc financial analysis and data interrogation to support business decisions.\n, • Support the Finance Director with ongoing finance projects and continuous process improvements.\n\n Essential \n\n • AAT qualified or part-qualified CIMA or ACCA.\n, • Previous experience in a management accounting or similar finance role.\n, • Strong month-end accounting knowledge.\n, • Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.\n, • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.\n, • Strong communication skills with the confidence to work with colleagues across all levels of the business.\n, • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, and the ability to quickly learn new systems.\n, • The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities within a hybrid working environment.\n\n Personal Attributes \n\n • Engaging and collaborative, building strong relationships across the business.\n, • Agile and proactive, with a continuous improvement mindset.\n, • Flexible and willing to support the wider team when required.\n, • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.\n, • Self-motivated and capable of working autonomously.\n, • Aligned with the company's core values of being energetic, agile, collaborative and ethical.\n\n Benefits \n\n • Pension scheme with Royal London (5% employee contribution / 4% employer contribution).\n, • Life Assurance (3 x annual salary).\n, • 25 days' annual leave, increasing by 1 day after 5 years' service and a further day after 10 years.\n, • Option to purchase up to 7 additional days' annual leave.\n, • Employee discounts platform, including high street retailers and discounted insurance products.\n, • Cycle to Work scheme.\n, • Free onsite parking.\n\n \n Additional Notes: \n Location Disclosure: Please mention your location in your CV.
