h3About The Role /h3 h3Technical Oversight /h3 ul liLead the design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, including high- and low-voltage distribution, UPS systems, generators, switchgear, power panels, and associated control systems. /li liEnsure the availability and resilience of electrical equipment supporting critical operations. /li /ul h3Operational Support /h3 ul liAssist Facility Managers (FMs) and Critical Environment Managers (CEMs) with technical issues and critical operations. /li liProvide technical expertise post-incident and contribute to root cause analysis and corrective actions. /li /ul h3Coordination and Knowledge Sharing /h3 ul liDevelop technical synergies across countries and teams to standardize best practices. /li liEnhance operational team engagement through targeted training initiatives. /li liActively participate in technical discussions with customers. /li /ul h3Stakeholder Interface /h3 ul liCollaborate with Data4 Construction, Design Engineering, and vendors to obtain technical details and studies requested by customers, particularly during audits. /li /ul h3Responsibilities /h3 h3Responsibilities in terms of IMS Certifications /h3 ul liRespect and enforce certification policies in terms of IMS: be proactive in improving the Integrated Management System (IMS) with stakeholders. /li liRespect and enforce h3Job Specific Responsibilities /h3 ul liCarry out on-site electrical audits on each site to collect all the technical data and update the documentation (SLD, Drawings, Discrimination studies, Functional Analysis, CMMS, EOP, SOP, etc.) /li liBuild a strong technical base (knowledge, skills, documentation) /li liReview, adapt and harmonize the global process of electrical systems operations and support local teams in streamlining energy efficiency with proper use and settings of electrical systems /li liParticipation in technical assessments from the start of the construction project to the commissioning and handover phase /li liValidation of the technical documentation at the handover phase /li liSupport Facility Managers and Critical Environment Managers on technical issues and critical operations /li liDevelop a technical constructive synergy between all countries /li liIncrease DC Operations teams’ involvement in their job’s essentials through training, drills, knowledge checks, etc. /li liDevelop and implement efficient technical daily reporting to help FM and CEM to better warrant their responsibility in terms of service continuity /li liParticipate in technical discussions with customers and contribute to reply to their technical requests. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 h3Education and experience /h3 ul li10+ years experience in a similar position or in mission-critical operations, with background in incident management and resolution /li li5+ years experience in Data Center Construction, Design Engineering /li liBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience /li /ul h3Technical skills /h3 h3Required /h3 ul liIn-depth knowledge of electrical systems, including high and low voltage distribution, UPS systems, generators, switchgear, power panels, and associated control systems /li liExperience in data center design and engineering, with the ability to review, adapt, and harmonize global operations processes /li liUnderstanding and adherence to electrical codes, standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices /li liHands‑on experience in actively participating in construction projects, especially during the commissioning phase, ensuring seamless integration of electrical systems /li liSkill in validating technical documentation during the handover phase of construction projects /li liProven ability to lead the diagnosis and resolution of complex electrical issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring the reliability of data center operations /li /ul h3Preferred /h3 ul liExperience in people management /li liAbility to participate in technical discussions with customers and contribute to addressing their technical requests /li liSkills in liaising with other teams and vendors to retrieve technical details and studies requested by customers during audits /li liCapability to develop a technical constructive synergy between different countries, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange /li liExperience in increasing operational teams’ involvement through training initiatives, knowledge-sharing, and skill development programs /li /ul h3Language proficiency /h3 ul liFluent
