As part of the Virtuoso and Internova SELECT luxury travel networks, we work with some of the world’s leading travel agencies and most discerning travellers. /ph3ROLE DESCRIPTION /h3pTailored Spain is seeking a creative, commercially minded Luxury Travel Designer to join our Production team in Aravaca, Madrid. /ppThis is a full-time position with a hybrid working model: three days per week at our office in Aravaca and two days working from home. /ppThe role focuses on designing and managing bespoke, high-end travel experiences throughout Spain and Portugal for international luxury travel advisors and their clients. /ppThe Luxury Travel Designer will manage each request from initial enquiry through confirmation and travel, creating imaginative, highly personalized itineraries that reflect the client’s interests, expectations and budget. The role combines destination expertise, creativity, operational precision and a strong commercial mindset. /ph3KEY RESPONSIBILITIES /h3ulliDesign creative, tailor‑made itineraries across Spain and Portugal, including accommodation, private transportation, guides, activities, dining and exclusive experiences. /liliPrepare detailed and compelling proposals adapted to each client’s profile, preferences and budget. /liliCommunicate directly with international travel advisors and build strong, long‑term professional relationships. /liliManage the complete quotation and booking process, from the initial request through confirmation and final documentation. /liliLiaise and negotiate with hotels, guides, transportation companies and other local partners. /liliProactively recommend upgrades, special experiences and added‑value services that enhance the itinerary. /liliFollow up on proposals and opportunities with a clear focus on conversion and business development. /liliMaintain accurate and up‑to‑date information in the company’s CRM and internal systems. /liliHandle amendments, cancellations and unexpected issues efficiently and professionally. /liliCollaborate closely with colleagues and other departments to ensure the seamless delivery of every trip. /li /ulh3QUALIFICATIONS /h3ulliPrevious experience designing and managing tailor‑made travel itineraries, ideally within a DMC, incoming travel agency or luxury travel company. /liliStrong knowledge of Spain Portugal's geography, culture, hotels and luxury travel offering. /liliExcellent written and spoken English and Spanish. Candidates will be required to complete an English proficiency test as part of the selection process. Additional languages are a plus. /liliStrong customer service and communication skills, with confidence interacting with international luxury travel professionals. /liliCommercial mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities, follow up effectively and convert enquiries into confirmed bookings. /liliCreativity and the ability to transform client preferences into distinctive and memorable travel experiences. /liliExcellent attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines simultaneously. /liliConfidence working with CRM systems, travel management platforms and standard office software. /liliA proactive, solution‑oriented attitude and the ability to remain calm and resourceful when handling changes or unexpected situations. /liliAbility to work within our hybrid model: three days per week at our Aravaca office, and two days from home, and contribute positively to a collaborative, dynamic team. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
