This is a full-time job. /p pYou will report to the Lead Engineer and be located at our HQ in San Sebastián de los Reyes. This is a hybrid position. The hiring process will start in mid September 2026. /p h3Main Responsibilities: /h3 ul liDevelop expertise in advanced ultrasonic inspection techniques and progressively contribute to the development and improvement of laboratory-based inspection methods. /li liPrepare, document, and validate inspection procedures. /li liParticipate in inspection and evaluation projects involving metallic materials and welded components for the nuclear industry. /li liPrepare technical justifications and supporting documentation for procedure qualification activities. /li liCollaborate in the research and implementation of new NDT technologies and methodologies. /li /ul h3Qualifications: /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in a scientific or engineering discipline such as Physics, Materials Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar. /li liMaster's degree will be valued. /li li5+ years of experience in the development and application of inspection procedures involving ultrasonic techniques. /li liPrepare technical analyses and justifications supporting procedure validation and qualification. /li liMinimum bB2 level of English /b, both written and spoken. /li liAvailability for occasional national and international travel. /li liInterest in applied research, technology development, and new NDT solutions, with the initiative to propose and improve inspection techniques and methodologies. /li liDesign and complete laboratory experimental activities with a high level of technical carefulness and organization. /li liInterpret experimental results and prepare clear, structured technical documentation. /li /ul h3Other Qualifications: /h3 ul liExperience in RD activities, experimental development, or technology validation. /li liExperience in test design, data analysis, and technical reporting. /li liExperience in the inspection of metallic materials and welds. /li liKnowledge of or experience with NDT procedure qualification processes. /li liUT Level II or Level III certification following ISO 9712. /li liExperience with advanced ultrasonic techniques such as Phased Array (PAUT) and TOFD. /li liExperience with NDT simulation and analysis software, such as CIVA, BeamTool, UltraVision, or equivalent tools. /li liKnowledge of international ultrasonic inspection codes and standards, including ASME, ISO, ENIQ, RCC-MR, and related requirements. /li /ul h3Why Westinghouse? /h3 pWe know that to put forth your best effort, you need to be challenged and enjoy what you do in a supportive and respectful environment.
