SUPO, where required) /p h3Why this role matters: /h3 pAs an AIT Engineer, Thermal Harness, you play a vital role in ensuring the thermal and electrical integrity of ICEYE's satellite constellation. You will execute hands‑on assembly, integration, and testing activities, from harness routing and MLI installation to structural alignment and mission‑critical verification. We enable fast decisions that contribute to a safer future. /p pFounded and headquartered in Finland, ICEYE operates globally with over 1000 employees across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia‑Pacific. /p h3Your day-to-day responsibilities /h3 ul liAssemble, route, and secure complex satellite electrical harnesses, ensuring compliance with routing standards and EMI/EMC best practices for grounding and shielding /li liInstall and verify Multi-Layer Insulation (MLI) and thermal protection systems to specification /li liConduct alignment, assembly, and verification of mechanical and thermal hardware across satellite production activities /li liAct as the primary point of contact for technical issues during harness routing and thermal assembly, leading troubleshooting of thermal and electrical connectivity faults /li liCollaborate with EMI/EMC engineering teams to optimise harness routing and shielding solutions that mitigate electromagnetic interference /li liIdentify process issues and drive continuous improvement of thermal and harness production workflows, contributing to design-for-manufacturing (DFM) and design-for-testability (DFT) initiatives /li liRepresent AIT Engineering across projects and disciplines on mechanical and thermal interface topics, ensuring alignment between production and design teams /li /ul h3What we’re looking for /h3 h3Must haves /h3 ul li5+ years of hands‑on experience in the development, integration, testing, or production of complex spacecraft hardware /li liDeep technical knowledge of harness manufacturing, routing standards, and thermal control materials including MLI /li liFamiliarity with integration, verification, production ramp‑up, and configuration management processes /li liFundamental understanding of EMI/EMC principles and best practices for aerospace cabling and harness design /li liSystems engineering mindset, able to identify and resolve issues across mechanical, thermal, and electrical interfaces /li liTrack record of enabling design-for-manufacturing (DFM) and design-for-testability (DFT) in a production environment /li liStrong English communication skills (written and spoken) for cross‑functional collaboration /li /ul h3Nice to haves /h3 ul liExperience in multidisciplinary engineering environments with a strong cross‑functional collaboration track record /li liFamiliarity with aerospace standards (ECSS, IPC) and cleanroom practices /li liExperience with Atlassian Cloud tools (Jira, Confluence) /li liLean and Six Sigma experience /li /ul h3Application Process /h3 ul liTalent Acquisition Interview /li liHiring Manager General Interview /li liTechnical Interview, including a Technical Challenge /li liFinal Interview /li /ul h3Working at ICEYE /h3 pAt ICEYE, you’ll join a diverse and highly engaged team united by the ambition to make the impossible possible.
