Job Description: An opportunity for an Initial Provisioning Engineer within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid). The selected candidate will join our Provisioning Data team within the Combat perimeter, where you will directly contribute to milestone defense programs such as Eurofighter, Eurodrone, SiRTAP, and FCAS. In this role, you will act as a key logistics link in a highly international and collaborative environment, interfacing directly with national and international customers, suppliers, and engineering stakeholders. Based within Customer Services, you will work hand‐in‐hand with core areas like Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), Technical Publications, and Ground Support Equipment (AGE/GSE) teams, as well as Engineering, Production, Configuration, and Program Management. Responsibilities • IP Data Creation: Author Initial Provisioning (IP) Data for both On‐Aircraft Equipment and Ground Support Equipment (AGE/GSE) using available technical documentation (DRL & EAPF) in strict accordance with ASD 2000M specifications and EPS‐SSPs procedures., • Configuration Management: Update and maintain configuration accuracy within the Configuration Management System (CMS)., • Logistics Systems Input: Process and inject IP data into the dedicated logistics system (STILO)., • IPL Lifecycle Management: Draft, create, and issue Initial Provisioning List (IPL) messages in Draft and Master versions; review and answer customer queries/observations on Draft IPLs, generate Consolidated Observations Lists (COL), and deliver the finalized Formal IPL version. Qualifications • Education: Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or equivalent technical background., • Experience: At least 5 years in a similar role., • Communication – Strong interpersonal skills to interface with international customers and suppliers., • Detail‐Oriented – High level of accuracy when managing complex technical and configuration data., • Teamwork – Ability to collaborate in a cross‐functional, multicultural environment., • Problem‐Solving – Proactive approach to resolving data discrepancies and customer queries., • Languages: Advanced level in Spanish & English (both written and spoken) is required for daily international operations., • Spanish Nationality: Mandatory due to security clearance requirements for Spanish Eyes Only defense programs., • Technical knowledge – Standards: Strong knowledge of ASD S2000M specifications; familiarity with S1000D/S3000L is a plus., • Technical Data – Ability to interpret engineering drawings, Technical Publications, and LSA data., • Tools – Experience with Configuration Management Systems (CMS) and logistics tools (e.g., STILO)., • Valuable / Nice to have: Solid understanding of the ASD 2000M (Version 6.1) international specification and EPS‐SSPs procedures., • Advanced skills in Microsoft Access for database manipulation., • Practical experience with Airbus corporate tools: CMS, STILO, and SAP., • Strong insight into Customer Support and Supportability disciplines for complex defense systems.
