The Legal Counsel in Iberia region (Spain and Portugal) will be responsible for providing legal advice, guidance, direction and assistance in connection with a wide variety of legal and compliance matters. This role will serve as the primary legal partner to business clients in the DHR Dx Platform companies in Ibera (Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, Cepheid, Radiometer and Leica Biosystems (Operational Companies, “OpCo”). The role will also support Beckman Coulter Life Sciences. The Legal Counsel Iberia reports to the Legal Director, Europe. The role will be on-site (Barcelona, Spain). In this role, you will have to provide legal support in the following areas: • Commercial Contracting & Agreements: Draft, review, negotiate, and update a broad range of commercial agreements, including sale, rental of equipment, service provision, distribution, cooperation, and other commercial contracts., • Regulatory & Compliance Advisory: Assist Quality and Regulatory Affairs with regulatory law support. Job Purpose: Responsible for assisting with domestic cash management processes, global cash and debt reporting, and providing analytical support for ad-hoc treasury projects. Assists with establishing daily global cash and corporate credit facility positions, executes funding transactions, and manages related bank balances. Performs administrative duties as appropriate to assist in the daily activities of the department's Manager and Director. Responsibilities: • Reconcile, analyze and report on daily bank balances and previous day cash activity to minimize idle cash, • Execute and/or monitor all funds transfers, investing, and borrowing activity with the approval of a Supervisor/Manager; ensuring that all are executed by the strict cutoff time., • Prepare and update detailed global cash flow forecasts and forecasting/variance analyses, • Maintain and monitor Intercompany Loan Portfolio, • Maintain daily credit limit monitoring for subsidiaries, • Prepare and execute fx trade reconciliations and settlements, • Compile and transmit daily reports of cash and debt activity to management., • Assist with interest income/expense forecasting and variance analysis., • Document and maintain all necessary bank accounts and services under the direction of the Treasury Manager or Director., • Assist Treasury Manager with maintaining and testing an up-to-date Business Recovery Plan for the Treasury Department., • Assist Treasury Manager with internal and external audit tasks, • Act as back up and support to other Treasury Analysts and Treasury Manager., • Perform additional duties as assigned. You will own the technical implementation of our Mixed Reality unity based experiences end-to-end — from a prototype on a headset in our Barcelona office, to a stable, multi-user, eight-hours-a-day installation inside a unique heritage site or a roller coaster at a major theme park. /p pThis role is for an engineer who has shipped, not just prototyped. You can read a Unity profile and know where the milliseconds went. /li liExperience with co‑located, shared‑space multiplayer (multiple headsets in the same room, anchored to the same coordinate system). /li liProven on‑site experience: at least one installed or location‑based project that has run reliably with real guests, not just an app‑store SKU. /li liComfortable working in English. /li libObsessed with the guest experience /b.
