This role requires you to be based within +3 / -6 UTC. /p h3Role Summary /h3 pOyster is seeking a strategic, data-driven Director of Demand Generation Growth Marketing to lead our pipeline generation and growth marketing function at a pivotal moment in our journey. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of performance marketing, digital experience, and lifecycle strategy, one that will directly shape how Oyster acquires, activates, and retains customers at scale. /p pReporting to the VP of Marketing and partnering closely with Sales, RevOps, Product, and Customer Success, you'll own the full demand generation engine: from paid acquisition and conversion optimization to lifecycle programs that drive retention and expansion. We're looking for a leader who combines strong analytical instincts with a bias for execution, and who thrives in fast-paced, distributed environments where ambiguity is the norm and outcomes are what matter. /p pIf you’re energized by building scalable growth systems, leading high-performing teams, and using data to turn insight into action, this is a rare opportunity to shape the future of global work. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 pbDemand Generation Pipeline Growth /b /p ul liOwn and execute Oyster's demand generation strategy, driving qualified pipeline across acquisition channels aligned to our ICP and go-to-market motion. /li liLead paid media programs across search, social, content syndication, and emerging channels, balancing efficiency with scale and ensuring strong return on marketing spend. /li liPartner with Sales and RevOps to define pipeline targets, align on lead quality, and create tight feedback loops between marketing investment and revenue outcomes. /li liBuild and optimize audience segmentation and targeting strategies that improve campaign performance and marketing efficiency. /li /ul pbDigital Experience Conversion /b /p ul liOwn digital conversion funnels end-to-end, using experimentation, personalization, and data-driven insights to improve performance at every stage. /li liLead a rigorous testing and optimization program across landing pages, website experiences, and key digital touchpoints. /li liTranslate customer and behavioral data into actionable improvements that reduce friction and increase conversion. /li /ul pbLifecycle Marketing Retention /b /p ul liOversee lifecycle marketing programs that support customer onboarding, engagement, retention, expansion, and long-term lifetime value. /li liDevelop customer journey strategies that improve activation and reduce churn, in close partnership with Customer Success and Product. /li liBuild segmented, personalized communications that meet customers where they are and drive meaningful engagement. /li /ul pbAnalytics, Forecasting Experimentation /b /p ul liEstablish and own the metrics framework for growth marketing: CAC, LTV, ROAS, conversion rates, pipeline velocity, and retention. /li liManage growth budgets with a strong focus on efficient allocation, forecasting accuracy, and performance against business goals. /li liChampion a culture of experimentation, defining hypotheses, designing tests, and translating results into scaled programs. /li /ul pbPeople Leadership Culture /b /p ul liBuild, mentor, and develop a high-performing, distributed team of growth and demand generation marketers. /li liFoster a culture of accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement, where data informs decisions and people are empowered to take ownership. /li liModel inclusive, empathetic leadership that enables your team to do the best work of their careers. /li /ul pbCross-functional Partnership /b /p ul liServe as the growth marketing lead in GTM planning, bringing clear POVs on pipeline health, channel performance, and growth levers. /li liPartner closely with Product, Sales, RevOps, Brand, and Analytics teams to align marketing initiatives with broader business objectives. /li liCommunicate performance, priorities, and tradeoffs clearly to senior stakeholders across the organization. /li /ul h3Core Requirements /h3 ul li8+ years of experience in demand generation, growth marketing, with at least 4 years in a leadership role. /li liProven track record of driving measurable growth in qualified pipeline, customer acquisition, and revenue in a B2B SaaS environment. /li liDeep expertise across paid media, digital marketing, lifecycle marketing, and marketing analytics. /li liStrong command of growth experimentation, conversion rate optimization, and customer journey management. /li liExperience managing significant marketing budgets and optimizing spend against revenue and pipeline targets. /li liProficiency with modern marketing and GTM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, 6sense, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads) and fluency in marketing data and attribution. /li liExceptional analytical skills, able to move from data to insight to action with clarity and speed. /li liStrong leadership and stakeholder management skills;
