The Council is committed to driving sustainable innovation and AI adoption in Education and Workforce Development. Member institutions of the Digital Education Council represent a globally diverse and strategically balanced mix of research universities, business schools, polytechnics, liberal arts colleges, and community colleges.Collectively, they serve over 3 million students and employ more than 350,000 faculty and staff from a wide range of disciplines, making DEC one of the most globally representative alliances in education. DEC now counts over 190 member institutions.The Job:We are seeking a Director of Education to lead the design, development and deployment of DECs education programmes at scale. This is a senior role for someone who has built and run large education or e-learning portfolios, knows how to translate institutional relationships into successful programme delivery, and can operate independently while keeping a global team aligned.You will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the President and DECs senior leadership, as well as with partner institutions, faculty contributors and delivery teams across regions.Responsibilities include:Lead the end-to-end development of DEC's courses and education programmes, from curriculum design through to launch and iterationOversee delivery and platform management, ensuring quality, consistency and a strong learner experience across all programmesBuild and manage relationships with higher education partners, faculty, and institutional stakeholders to identify education needs and shape relevant offeringsLead the deployment of large-scale education projects, coordinating across internal teams, partner institutions and external contributors to meet timelines and quality standardsMonitor and refine processes, frameworks and quality benchmarks for course production and programme deliveryRepresent DEC in partner conversations, positioning the Council's education offerings credibly to senior academic and institutional audiencesMonitor programme performance and learner outcomes, using data to inform ongoing improvementYour profile:10+ years of relevant professional experience, with at least 5 years in course development and e-learning managementDemonstrated ability to design and scale education programmes across xkdbapo multiple institutions or marketsStrong relationship-building skills, with credibility in front of senior academic and institutional stakeholdersProven track record deploying large, complex projects on time and to a high standardStructured and process-minded, while comfortable operating in fast-paced environmentsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsComfortable working across time zones with a globally distributed teamFluency in Spanish strongly preferredWhy apply for this role?Lead high-impact programmes shaping the future of higher education and workforce developmentWork across a global network of 190+ member institutions spanning six continentsJoin a fast-growing, mission-driven organisation as it scales its impact globallyDirector of Education - Cañada Rosal, andalucía, Spain#J-18808-Ljbffr
