Together, let’s advance the world of minimally invasive care. /p h3Job Description /h3 pbPrimary Function of Position: /b /p pThe Genesis OR Consultant plays a key role in supporting hospitals and surgical teams by delivering both onsite and remote consulting services. This role is focused on identifying and implementing best-in-class practices for da Vinci Surgery across areas such as robotic program standardization, operational efficiency, team training, cost management, and block time utilization. /p pWorking in close partnership with hospital leadership and cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Customer Training, Customer Service, and Technical Support. The consultant ensures that each customer is equipped to successfully launch, optimize, and sustain a high-performing robotic surgery program. /p pbRoles and Responsibilities: /b /p pbBuild and Maintain Expert Knowledge /b /p ul liDevelop deep expertise in the use, application, troubleshooting, and proper handling of Intuitive technologies, instruments and accessories. /li /ul pbTerritory and Time Management /b /p ul liIndependently manage your assigned territory, balancing customer consulting engagements with administrative responsibilities. /li /ul pbPlan and Execute Consulting Programs /b /p ul liDesign and deliver targeted Genesis OR consulting and educational initiatives to strategically selected customer accounts. /li /ul pbLead Complex Customer Engagements /b /p ul liDrive long-term, multi-layered consulting engagements by collaborating with hospital stakeholders and cross-functional Intuitive teams (Sales, Services, Marketing, Customer Training) to provide customized, actionable solutions.br/This includes: ul liIdentifying challenges, utilization barriers, and strategic opportunities /li liAligning with hospital key stakeholders on priorities and implementation plans /li liTracking progress and maintaining regular communication based on shared timelines /li /ul /li /ul pbDeliver High-Impact Consulting Service /bs /p ul liProvide in-person and virtual consulting services focused on key operational areas such as: ul liWorkflow standardization /li liOR efficiency improvements /li liStaff training and onboarding /li liCost containment strategies /li liBlock scheduling optimization /li liNew system integration /li /ul /li /ul pbCross-Team Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing /b /p ul liPromote strong collaboration among Genesis and cross-functional partners to meet shared implementation goals and customer success milestones. /li /ul pbData Analysis and Insight Generation /b /p ul liAnalyze customer usage patterns and performance data to tailor consulting engagements and demonstrate value through measurable outcomes. /li /ul pbCollaborate Across Functions /b /p ul liWork closely with Sales and Marketing to ensure alignment on customer strategy and execution. /li liEngage with internal stakeholders to define, measure, and continuously improve the quality and impact of Genesis content and services. /li /ul pbEvent and Program Support /b /p ul liActively support internal and customer-facing Genesis and Intuitive events, including conferences, congresses, and training sessions (virtual and live). /li /ul pbSupport New Product Launches /b /p ul liParticipate in the rollout and adoption of new Intuitive products and solutions, including training and integration planning. /li /ul pbCustomer Feedback and Issue Reporting /b /p ul liProactively gather and report customer feedback or concerns through appropriate internal channels to ensure rapid resolution and continuous improvement. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 pbRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: /b /p ul liBachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) preferred; equivalent clinical, medical, or healthcare-related experience also considered /li liMinimum of 5 years of proven professional experience in healthcare or hospital management, ideally in a B2B sales role or a hospital-based leadership position /li liDemonstrated experience working in or with Operating Room departments /li liStrong track record of achieving results through effective team collaboration /li liStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently present to diverse audiences and group sizes /li liThrives in a dynamic, high-energy, and fast-paced environment /li liFlexible and adaptable with work schedules, including occasional extended hours /li liStrong business acumen and the ability to operate effectively within key stakeholders healthcare environments /li liAbility to communicate clearly and consistently across multiple organizational levels /li liTraining or certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or Change Management is a plus /li liProficiency in Microsoft Office and/or equivalent tools; experience with project management and a strong record of leading complex, customer-facing initiatives related to OR efficiency, productivity, or cost containment /li liFluency in English and the local language (as applicable) /li liWillingness to travel up to 70% /li liA minimum of 24 months in this role is expected before eligibility for internal mobility to other positions within the organization /li /ul p#LI-remote /p h3Additional Information /h3 pIntuitive is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
