The challenge As Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you’ll play a key role in shaping Plenit’s financial strategy as we enter our next stage of growth, including our upcoming Series B fundraising. Your mission will be to build a robust financial roadmap that supports our rapid expansion across Europe and Latin America, ensuring scalability, sustainability, and strong financial performance. You’ll lead the Finance and Legal teams, building and scaling a high‑performing organization focused on efficiency, accountability, and strong governance. You’ll drive financial planning, reporting, compliance, and operational excellence, while implementing systems and processes that support a growing, international Saa S business. Collaboration will be essential. You’ll work closely with the CEO, Executive Team, and Board, partnering with Product, Operations, and other key teams to align financial strategy with business priorities. You’ll also manage relationships with investors, auditors, and external advisors, playing a central role in fundraising, reporting, and strategic decision‑making. Requirements that are important for us We are looking for a CFO with strong experience in Saa S or technology‑driven companies, capable of leading financial strategy in a high‑growth, venture‑backed environment. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with hands‑on execution. Relevant experience and expected outcomes Extensive experience in senior finance roles within Saa S or tech companies, with a proven track record scaling businesses from Series A to Series C+. Leading fundraising processes (Series A–C), managing investor relations, due diligence, and capital planning. Strong expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and unit economics. Experience managing finance operations, including reporting, tax strategy, compliance, and audits across multiple geographies. Driving pricing strategy, capital allocation, and financial planning to support international expansion. Key skills and expected impact Strong strategic mindset combined with operational execution capabilities. Ability to build, lead, and scale high‑performing finance and legal teams. High level of analytical rigor with strong business intuition for decision‑making. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to executives, board members, and investors. Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in fast‑paced, international environments. High level of ownership, trust, and transparency in leadership style. Tools Financial systems and ERP platforms (e.g., Net Suite, Odoo), supporting scalable financial operations. Analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel, Google Sheets), enabling data‑driven decisions. Forecasting and planning tools (e.g., Adaptive Planning, Anaplan), supporting financial modeling and scenario analysis. Project and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Slack, Microsoft Teams), ensuring alignment across teams. CRM and documentation tools (e.g., Salesforce, Notion), supporting reporting, forecasting, and investor management.
