Here is a breakdown of what makes a front desk coordinator thrive in a busy clinic: Key Responsibilities • Patient Care & Triage: Welcoming patients, managing check-ins/check-outs, and handling walk-in quick fixes (like cleanings, wax filters, or battery replacements)., • Scheduling & Flow Management: Balancing hearing evaluations, consultations, fittings, and emergency appointments without letting the clinic fall behind., • Insurance & Billing Support: Verifying benefits, collecting copays/coinsurance, and handling financing plans (like CareCredit) for high-ticket hearing technology., • Administrative Operations: Managing multi-line phone systems, sending appointment reminders, ordering supplies, and maintaining electronic health records (EHR). Core Skills for Success Skill AreaPrimary Focus Patient Empathy Communicating clearly and patiently with individuals who often have hearing impairment. Speaking at a clear pace and maintaining direct face-to-face eye contact. Audiology Knowledge Basic familiarity with hearing aid brands (Oticon, Phonak, Widex, Resound, Starkey) and common terminology (audiograms, clean-and-checks, earmold impressions). Multitasking Answering high phone volumes while greeting patients, checking insurance benefits, and keeping the audiologist on schedule. Problem Solving Troubleshooting minor patient equipment issues on the spot to save time for the audiologist.

The Role In this role you will be responsible for transporting, loading, and unloading goods as well as confirming accuracy and safety of delivery contents. Must be an efficient and accountable worker with a clean driving record. Accountabilities: • Responsible for job site deliveries in NJ, Eastern PA and occasionally other out of state routes., • Occasional overtime and weekends., • Perform vehicle inspections before and after trips., • Load and unload product from vehicle., • Maintain professional appearance and demeanor. Qualifications: Education and Experience • High school diploma or GED., • Valid driver's license with a clean record (3 years); CDL Class B with air brake endorsement required., • Understand safety in the workplace and on job sites., • Basic computer skills helpful. Physical Requirements • Exposure to noise, dust, fumes and environment. Moderate physical activity not limited to walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50 lbs., sitting, standing periods of time and driving.
