We are seeking someone with approximately 5-7 years of paralegal experience. Personal injury Pre-Litigation and/or Litigation experience is strongly preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required . What You'll Do As a Paralegal, you'll work closely with attorneys and other members of your pod to manage cases from pre-litigation through resolution. You'll play a critical role in ensuring our clients receive exceptional service while helping attorneys stay organized, prepared, and focused on achieving the best possible outcomes. Case Management • Assist Attorneys in managing pre-litigation and litigation case files., • Address assigned task lists daily through our case management system., • Maintain organized and accurate electronic client files., • Calendar court deadlines, hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial dates., • Coordinate scheduling with clients, witnesses, experts, opposing counsel, and the courts. Pre-Litigation and Litigation Support • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, correspondence, and other legal documents., • Complete e-filings in Missouri and Kansas state courts as well as federal court., • Prepare discovery productions and organize trial exhibits., • Summarize medical records, medical expenses, wage loss documentation, and expert reports., • Coordinate with expert witnesses to obtain records, reports, and testimony. Client Communication • Build strong relationships with clients by providing compassionate, proactive communication throughout their case., • Respond to client emails and telephone calls within 24 hours in a solution-oriented manner., • Help clients navigate difficult situations with empathy, professionalism, and patience. Team Collaboration & Continuous Improvement • Work collaboratively with attorneys, legal assistants, and other team members to move cases efficiently toward resolution., • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, processes, and the overall client experience., • Embrace technology—including AI tools—to improve efficiency, enhance accuracy, and continually improve the way we serve our clients. Must-Have Qualifications • Approximately 5-7 years of paralegal experience., • Personal injury pre-litigation or Litigation experience strongly preferred., • Working knowledge of Missouri and Kansas civil procedure and court rules., • Experience filing documents through Missouri and Kansas e-filing systems, PACER, Case.net, and Kansas Courts., • Experience drafting pleadings, discovery, correspondence, and litigation documents., • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills., • Exceptional proofreading, editing, and attention to detail., • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat DC, case management software (Filevine experience is a significant plus), legal research tools, and a willingness to learn and effectively utilize AI-powered tools to improve productivity and client service.
