Job Description We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Immigration Attorney to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate will have experience representing individuals and families in a wide range of immigration matters and be comfortable managing cases from initial consultation through final resolution. This position is ideal for an attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys direct client interaction, and is passionate about advocating for immigrant communities. Open to Hybrid Responsibilities • Manage a diverse caseload of immigration matters from intake through resolution., • Represent clients before USCIS, EOIR (Immigration Court), and ICE., • Handle removal defense and deportation proceedings., • Prepare and file applications for asylum, adjustment of status, waivers, VAWA, U visas, T visas, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS), naturalization, family-based petitions, employment authorization, TPS, and other humanitarian forms of relief., • Represent detained clients and prepare, file, and argue immigration bond motions and bond redetermination hearings before the Immigration Court., • Coordinate with detention facilities, ICE officials, and family members to facilitate the release of detained non-citizens., • Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, appeals, and supporting memoranda., • Prepare clients and witnesses for hearings, interviews, and court appearances., • Develop case strategy while maintaining regular communication with clients regarding case progress., • Work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to provide exceptional client service. Qualifications • Active Bar license in any U.S. jurisdiction (Florida Bar preferred)., • 2+ years of immigration law experience., • Experience handling removal defense and detained immigration matters., • Demonstrated experience representing clients in immigration bond hearings and securing the release of detained undocumented individuals., • Experience practicing before Immigration Court (EOIR) and USCIS., • Strong legal writing, litigation, negotiation, and advocacy skills., • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred., • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment., • Passion for serving immigrant communities and delivering exceptional client care.
