Job DescriptionJob Title: Electronics Technician Job Description This role focuses on conducting, maintaining, testing, and repairing electrical and electronic components in a warehouse environment. The Electronics Technician identifies issues down to the component level, performs precise troubleshooting and repair, and ensures all work meets established quality and safety standards while maintaining an organized and efficient workspace. Responsibilities • Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and repair of a wide range of electronic components., • Analyze electronic issues down to the individual component level to identify root causes., • Complete repair orders and project tasks efficiently and within required timeframes., • Read and interpret schematic diagrams to support accurate diagnostics and repairs., • Comply with all quality performance standards and follow established repair procedures., • Maintain the work area, tools, and equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe condition., • Follow all warehouse safety regulations and guidelines at all times., • Handle hard drive devices in accordance with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) policy standards., • Accurately enter data for completed units using computer systems and applications., • Collaborate effectively with team members while also working autonomously when required., • Perform other duties as assigned based on the needs of the warehouse and business operations.Essential Skills, • Solid understanding of electronics and various technology systems and applications, including electronic componentry and theory., • Ability to read and interpret electronic schematic diagrams., • Proficiency in utilizing test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and voltmeters., • Skilled in soldering and de-soldering techniques, including both surface-mount and through-hole methods., • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot down to the component level., • Ability to handle hard drive devices while strictly adhering to ESD policy standards., • Comfort working both independently and as part of a team., • High level of thoroughness and attention to detail in completing technical tasks., • Proficiency with computers for accurate data entry and documentation of completed units., • Ability to successfully pass a Technical Aptitude Test, when applicable.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Experience working with electronics troubleshooting and repair in a warehouse or technical environment., • Familiarity with quality performance standards and continuous improvement practices., • Capability to follow detailed technical procedures and safety protocols., • Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors., • Reliability and consistency in meeting deadlines and productivity expectations.Why Work Here? Work Environment This position is based in a warehouse environment that supports electronics testing and repair operations. The role requires the ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds when necessary, as well as the capacity to stand and walk for extended periods. Technicians regularly bend, push, pull, twist, and reach in a continuous and repetitive manner while handling equipment and components. Work involves frequent use of electronic test instruments, soldering tools, and computer systems in a setting that emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and organization. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tolleson, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.17 - $19.67/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
