Job DescriptionJob Title: Production Assembler – Shock AssemblyJob Description Join a high-energy shock assembly plant where you use hand and power tools to build shocks for powersports equipment, including ATVs, snowmobiles, side-by-sides, and motorcycles. You work on a production line following written work instructions to assemble shocks in a fast-paced environment with daily production quotas. This role combines mechanical assembly, precision work, and consistent output in a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities • Assemble shocks on a production line using hand and power tools, following detailed written work instructions., • Build shocks used in a variety of powersports equipment, ensuring accuracy, quality, and consistency in each unit., • Meet or exceed daily production quotas, working at a fast pace while maintaining attention to detail., • Lift and handle components and finished products weighing up to 50 pounds safely and consistently., • Use tape measures and other basic measuring tools to verify dimensions and ensure proper fit and alignment., • Perform mechanical assembly tasks, including fitting, fastening, and securing parts according to specifications., • Work at long metal table stations on an assembly line in close quarters with other team members., • Support the goal of building approximately 700 shocks per day during peak season and adjusting to 600 per day as production needs change., • Complete each shock assembly within an expected cycle time of approximately 25 minutes., • Perform small motor skill tasks such as stickering, labeling, and cleaning components or work areas as needed., • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including proper handling of tools and equipment., • Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors about production status, issues, or needed support., • Work overtime regularly as required to meet production schedules and customer demand.Essential Skills, • 3–6 months of previous experience using hand and power tools in a manufacturing environment., • Proven experience in manufacturing assembly, production assembly, or similar roles in a fast-paced setting., • Ability to work efficiently on an assembly line, performing repetitive tasks while maintaining quality., • Mechanical aptitude and experience with mechanical assembly tasks., • Ability to read, write, and speak clearly to follow written work instructions and communicate with the team., • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds safely and repeatedly throughout the shift., • Comfort working toward daily production targets and time-based assembly goals., • Reliability and willingness to work overtime on a regular basis as production demands require.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Experience using a variety of hand and power tools in a production or manufacturing environment., • Background in roles such as Production Assembler, Manufacturing Assembler, or General Labor in manufacturing., • Familiarity with tape measures and basic measuring techniques for mechanical components., • Experience working on long metal table stations or similar assembly line setups., • Ability to perform fine motor tasks such as stickering, labeling, and detailed cleaning work., • Comfort working in close quarters with other team members on a shared production line., • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized work instructions and processes.Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is fully on-site at a shock manufacturing facility in Riverside, CA. You work on a production line at long metal table stations in close quarters with other team members, using hand and power tools throughout your shift. The environment is fast paced, with daily production goals and regular overtime to meet demand. The facility can be very hot, with fans running to help manage temperature and airflow, especially due to the continuous use of power tools. You can expect a hands-on, physically active workday that involves standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing repetitive mechanical and fine-motor tasks as part of a collaborative production team. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Riverside, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
