Education: • High school diploma or equivalent (required); some college or AA degree desirable., • Valid Ohio Educational Aide Certification Experience: • Required Must possess a foundational knowledge and understanding of music concepts, rhythm, instruction, and creative expression, • 1 year of accepted experience working with children with autism or other special needs, 2 years (Preferred), • Special education: 1 year (Preferred), • Experience with a social-communication classroom TEACCH-style program or a structured-style room for children with autism and/or special needs is preferred., • Must have strong verbal & written communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with both families & staff., • Must be able to work collaboratively and effectively within a team., • Must have excellent organizational skills and a positive and energetic attitude., • Ability to move around considerably.
