Job DescriptionJob Title: Warehouse SorterJob Description This entry-level Warehouse Sorter role focuses on accurately unloading, sorting, and allocating packages within a busy warehouse environment. You will work from sorting sheets to ensure each package goes to the correct location, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. This position is ideal for someone who is physically fit, reliable, and eager to contribute to a collaborative warehouse team. Responsibilities • Unload packages from incoming shipments and place them in designated areas within the warehouse., • Follow sorting sheets to identify which packages to sort and where each item belongs., • Sort, label, and organize packages accurately to maintain an orderly warehouse flow., • Use RF scanners and other basic warehouse tools to track and handle packages as needed., • Perform general labor tasks such as warehouse packing, assembly, order picking, and material handling., • Assist with loading and unloading activities to support overall warehouse operations., • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following warehouse procedures., • Pay close attention to detail to ensure packages are sorted correctly and errors are minimized., • Communicate clearly with team members and work collaboratively to meet daily goals., • Adapt to varying workloads, especially during peak season, and complete tasks efficiently., • Stand, bend, squat, and move continuously throughout the shift to handle packages and materials.Essential Skills, • Ability to read and write English proficiently, with strong focus on accuracy and comprehension., • Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly in a physical work environment., • Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes., • Ability to make repetitive movements, including bending, squatting, and general material handling., • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate sorting and placement of packages., • Reliable, hard-working attitude with a strong work ethic., • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, manual warehouse setting., • Team-oriented mindset with willingness to support coworkers and contribute to shared goals.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Entry-level role; prior warehouse experience is not required., • Experience or familiarity with sorting, packaging, picking, packing, loading, unloading, labeling, or assembly is beneficial., • Comfort using RF scanners or similar handheld devices for sorting and tracking is an asset., • Demonstrated ability to follow written instructions and sorting sheets accurately., • Physical fitness and stamina to handle manual work throughout the shift., • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to warehouse processes., • Ability to maintain composure and productivity during peak seasonal workloads., • Contract-to-hire opportunity with potential for permanent employment based on performance.Why Work Here?
