The Company you will be working with; MTrec Commercial are currently supporting our prestigious client on their search for an experienced Accounts Manager to join their team on a full time and permanent basis. The Role you will be doing; As Accounting Manager, you will oversee all financial accounting activities across multiple entities, ensuring compliance with both statutory requirements and internal group standards. You will play a key role in driving process improvement, enhancing reporting accuracy, and supporting strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise accounting operations across your area of responsibility Manage the monthly close process and ensure accurate, timely reporting Ensure compliance with statutory, fiscal, and group accounting standards Oversee tax compliance including declarations and regulatory requirements Coordinate audits and manage relationships with external advisors Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes Partner with controlling teams on budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions where required Lead, develop, and motivate a team, including performance management and training About You; Proven experience in a senior accounting or finance management role Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting, tax, and compliance Experience of managing month-end and year-end processes Demonstrated leadership and team management capability Strong analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement Comfortable working within a structured, process-driven environment Proficient in ERP systems and financial reporting tools Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) preferred Key Skills; Financial management & reporting (P&L, budgets, forecasting) Audit and compliance management Risk analysis and problem-solving Strong communication and stakeholder management Leadership and change management TPBN1_UKTJ
