Do you have strong HR advisory skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a passion for supporting managers and colleagues? \n \n How about this People Advisor role, on a 12-month fixed term contract, working for a social housing / housing development organisation. \n \n In this key role, you will deliver a professional, people-focused service across the organisation, partnering directly with key stakeholders in departments across the organisation, to drive success. \n \n This is a hybrid role working 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home each week. Salary £36,651 \n \n You will work one office day in each of 3 offices: Liverpool city centre, St Helens and Warrington. To make sure you're spending time with each team, every week. \n \n What You’ll Be Doing \n\n • Managing ER cases, providing expert advice to managers, and ensuring alignment with employment legislation and HR best practice.\n, • Leading on attendance management (including return-to-work and long-term cases) and supporting performance management, capability, and development plans.\n, • Supporting recruitment, retention, apprenticeship programmes, and talent development across the business.\n, • Contributing to People Strategy delivery, corporate initiatives, learning needs identification, and transformation projects.\n, • Partnering productively with trade unions and building collaborative relationships with leadership teams.\n, • Maintaining accurate HR data records, efficient processes, and ensuring compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and equality standards.\n\n \n What We’re Looking For \n\n • CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards), or equivalent practical experience if not qualified.\n, • Proven experience in a People/HR Advisory role, handling a broad spectrum of employee relations matters.\n, • Strong background in supporting managers through performance, absence, and conduct processes.\n, • High level of IT literacy and confidence using modern HR systems and data.\n, • Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.\n, • Excellent workload management skills, with strong attention to detail and data integrity.\n\n \n You’ll join a collaborative, supportive HR function where your expertise will directly contribute to the People Strategy.
