Property Maintenance TechnicianFull-time | MondayFriday, 9:00am6:00pmOccasional weekend work | £30,000 + performance bonus + company van + fuel allowanceJoin a Growing Property Business Wyndale is looking for a skilled, reliable, and hands-on Property Maintenance Technician to join our growing team.Working across our portfolio of properties in Birmingham, Worcester, and Malvern , youll play a key role in keeping our accommodation safe, well-maintained, functional, and guest-ready.This is a varied, practical role suited to someone who enjoys solving problems, working with their hands, and taking pride in the quality of their work. From reactive repairs and preventative maintenance to decorating, furniture assembly, garden maintenance, and preparing new properties for launch, no two days are likely to be the same.Youll be trusted to work independently, take ownership of maintenance tasks, and help ensure our properties consistently meet high standards.What Youll Be Doing Property Maintenance & Repairs Carry out general maintenance and repair work across our property portfolio.Complete regular property inspections and preventative maintenance.Respond promptly to reactive maintenance issues and urgent repairs.Carry out minor to mid-scale repairs to keep properties in excellent condition.Identify potential issues early and take action before they become larger problems.Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.Refurbishment & Property Improvements Support refurbishment, renovation, and property improvement projects.Carry out decorating and finishing work, including painting, wallpapering, touch-ups, and general repairs.Install fixtures, fittings, shelving, wall-mounted items, and other property equipment.Assemble and install furniture and household equipment.Help improve the condition, functionality, and overall presentation of our properties.New Property Set-Up Youll also play an important role in preparing new properties for launch, including:Assembling furniture and installing household items.Completing decorating and finishing works.Setting up bedrooms, communal areas, and other spaces to company standards.Carrying out final checks to ensure properties are fully operational and guest-ready.Garden & Outdoor Maintenance Maintain lawns, hedges, pathways, gardens, and general outdoor areas.Complete seasonal maintenance tasks as required.Keep external areas clean, tidy, safe, and presentable.Standards, Safety & Compliance Maintain high standards of property condition, presentation, and functionality.Follow all relevant health and safety procedures.Complete work in line with company quality standards.Take pride in delivering a high-quality finish across every property.What Were Looking For Youll ideally have previous experience in property maintenance, facilities maintenance, refurbishment, or another practical, hands-on role.Were looking for someone with a broad range of practical skills, including:Basic electrical workBasic plumbingBasic tilingDecorating, including painting and wallpaperingWall mounting and installation workFurniture assemblyGeneral handyman and maintenance skillsYoull also need:Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.The ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.A proactive attitude and a willingness to get stuck in.A full UK driving licence (essential) .The ability to travel between multiple property locations.The physical ability to carry out manual tasks, including lifting and moving furniture and supplies when required.Working Hours Monday to Friday, 9:00am6:00pm.Due to the nature of our serviced accommodation business, occasional weekend work may be required for urgent maintenance issues or to support property projects.We aim to keep weekend working to a minimum and provide as much notice as possible.
