About the role: We’re looking for an experienced backend engineer to join us! We currently have two cross-functional product teams. We’re ambitious, and have many interesting strategic and technical challenges ahead of us, including: • Working towards our multi-product strategy as we scale our newest product,_, • Expanding our target audience to include other primary healthcare providers (like vets and hearing specialists) and other regions/countries Our legacy system has supported us for 8 years and enabled us to reach >10k dentists and create a sustainable, profitable business as we rapidly scale further. You should expect to play a key role in our engineering team: We typically use the following tools and technologies: • Go to write our application code, • Google Cloud and AWS for infrastructure, • Confluent Kafka for our events handling, • Serverless technologies in AWS e.g. API GW, Lambda, EventBridge, DynamoDB, Docker for our new infrastructure, • Postgres for our databases, • Our frontend uses Javascript and TypeScript and is hosted on Vercel Our interview process includes: You’ll start by having an initial call with our recruiter. About the role: As we are expanding rapidly and internationally, our ambition is to continue offering real-time support to all our customers. To help us in this ambitious mission, we are looking at reinforcing the Team by bringing on-board a caring, passionate and ambitious Customer Support Associate to join our Finance & Cards pod. This role ensures timely ticket resolution, excellent customer communication, and accurate processing of refunds and finance queries. It also requires strong technical troubleshooting, ownership of core processes, and effective escalation of complex issues or recurring product bugs. Responsibilities: Ticket Handling & SLAs • Handle simple loan-related queries (e.g., loan status, repayment schedules, payment dates)., • Triage refund requests accurately and escalate unclear or atypical cases., • Meet SLA expectations consistently for low-complexity finance tickets. Customer Satisfaction & Communication • Reassure patients about refund timelines, progress, and next steps., • Communicate with empathy in decline scenarios or when delivering difficult updates., • Escalate sensitive or regulatory complaints immediately., • Write clear and concise responses for straightforward finance queries. Product Knowledge & Tools • Understand the difference between Prime and Near-Prime financing flows., • Demonstrate basic knowledge of key finance terms (APR, repayment schedules, soft vs. hard searches)., • Navigate internal tools confidently and follow documented processes with minimal support. An exciting opportunity has developed for a substantive Consultant Geriatrician appointment with a special interest in Acute Geriatrics The successful candidate will become part of the acute geriatrics team at the University Hospital of Wales where they will support the acute take for older people and inpatients on the Older Person's Acute Medical Unit. The successful candidate will become part of the Geriatrics team at the University Hospital of Wales where they will support inpatient care for older people on a specialist geriatrics ward, alongside liaison and outpatient work supporting older people with cancer. The successful candidate will use their GIM and Geriatric Medicine skillset to help with specialty retrieval, management and ongoing care of patients. The candidate will also be supported in exploring the opportunities and challenges that frail older people uniquely manifest in this setting. The post will breakdown as follows from a job planning perspective. • Inpatient ward 3.0 sessions, • Onco-geriatrics outpatients/front door frailty 1.5 sessions, • SPA 0.5 sessions The post holder will play a key role in the development and delivery of the Geriatric Oncology Service (GOS) at University Hospital of Wales, working at the interface between Geriatric Medicine and Oncology to improve outcomes for Older Adults with Cancer. This will include dedicated sessions supporting both outpatient and front-door frailty pathways, alongside integration with inpatient care where appropriate in the Acute Oncology Service. The role will centre on the delivery of CGA within oncology pathways, providing holistic, multidisciplinary evaluation of older patients with cancer. The post holder will assess functional status, comorbidities, cognition, nutrition, polypharmacy and psychosocial factors, and use this information to guide individualised management and shared decision-making regarding cancer treatment. The Consultant will also work closely with Surgical and Oncology colleagues as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing specialist geriatric expertise to treatment planning and risk stratification. The post holder will support the establishment and ongoing development of a structured Geriatric Oncology Service, helping to move from ad hoc geriatric input to a consistent, evidence-based model of care embedded within cancer pathways.
