We are looking for a Laser Cutting Operator to strengthen our team We manufacture high-quality components and signage for some of the world's leading companies across the aerospace, automotive, rail and industrial sectors. We're looking for a Laser Cutting Operator who takes pride in producing precision-engineered products and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. If you have experience operating laser marking or laser cutting equipment and a keen eye for detail, we'd love to hear from you. Commutable from :- Sutton Coldfield, Walsall, Aston, Dudley, Solihull, Moseley, Harbourne, Halesowen, Cannock, Rugeley, Tamworth, Lichfield and Stourbridge Duties Setting up and operating laser marking and laser cutting equipment. Loading and verifying programs, materials and job specifications. Producing components from engineering drawings, artwork and production instructions. Monitoring machine performance and making adjustments to achieve the highest levels of quality and efficiency. Conducting first-off and in-process inspections using measuring equipment. Performing quality checks to ensure every product meets customer and company standards. Reading and interpreting technical drawings and production documentation. Requirements Experience operating laser marking or laser cutting machinery. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications. Basic computer skills. You will have gained your experience from within a manufacturing or engineering environment. Experience producing components for aerospace, automotive or industrial sectors would be strongly considered Experience using measuring equipment including verniers, micrometers and gauges.
