Join us as a Senior UI Designer in Barcelona with a focus on production excellence. /p h3What will you do? /h3 pWe are looking for a UI Designer who combines outstanding design craftsmanship with strong communication and collaboration skills. In this role, you will help translate creative concepts into production‑ready solutions, guide design delivery, and work closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest quality standards. As part of our 75‑person international UI Design team, you will bridge the gap between creative vision and technical implementation, ensuring consistency, scalability, and flawless execution. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liBuild trusted relationships with clients and act as a day‑to‑day design partner. /li liFacilitate workshops, presentations, and design reviews, helping align stakeholders and design direction. /li liTranslate client and business needs into clear design solutions and actionable tasks. /li liCoordinate design activities across multidisciplinary teams, including UX, UI, 3D, engineering, and production. /li liLead the production phase of UI projects, from refining concepts to creating high‑fidelity layouts and final asset delivery. /li liBuild, maintain, and scale design systems and component libraries in Figma. /li liPrepare and manage development handovers, ensuring design quality and intent are preserved in implementation. /li liEstablish and maintain production standards, workflows, and quality assurance processes. /li liUnderstand technical constraints of automotive platforms (HMI) and collaborate closely with developers to find smart, production‑ready solutions. /li liMentor and support other designers in UI craftsmanship, tools, and best practices. /li liCollaborate with international teams across Europe and the Americas. /li /ul h3Who are you? /h3 pYou have a strong eye for detail, a passion for high‑quality digital experiences, and a structured approach to solving complex design challenges. You enjoy working closely with clients, collaborating across disciplines, and turning ideas into scalable, production‑ready solutions. /p pHere’s what we think you need to succeed in this role: /p ul liDegree in Design or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. /li li5+ years of experience designing and delivering digital user interfaces for complex products. /li liStrong experience with design systems, component libraries, and developer handovers. /li liMust have: Advanced, expert‑level skills in Figma (including variables, auto‑layout, and components) and Photoshop. /li liExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain design decisions to different audiences. /li liExperience facilitating client discussions and managing stakeholder expectations. /li liStrong organizational skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity and competing priorities. /li liCollaborative mindset, empathy, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving. /li liNice to have: Experience with Cinema 4D, After Effects, ProtoPie, and/or Rive. /li liExperience in the Automotive Industry (HMI production) is a big plus. /li liLocation: Barcelona / Martorell. /li liOccasional national and international travel. /li liFluency in Spanish and good English skills. /li /ul h3Who are we? /h3 picon incar is the leading design company in the automotive UX space.
