We’re expanding our product catalogue with newly acquired platforms and need someone who can take ownership, integrate them into our ecosystem, and make them shine. We like people at the forefront of technology. Developers comfortable with event-driven architectures and distributed systems who can work collaboratively within a big team but are also focused and able to lead on their own. We love new ideas and ways of tackling problems. Our product and stack are a continual work in progress. Fresh perspectives, tools, and programs are always welcome. /ph3What You’ll Do /h3ulliDesign, build, and maintain highly scalable and resilient backend services using Go. /liliDevelop event-driven, distributed systems leveraging Kafka and gRPC. /liliOwn and evolve acquired codebases: integrate them into Valsea’s platform and expand their capabilities. /liliCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features that deliver real product value. /liliContribute to architectural decisions and continuously evolve our backend stack with new tools and best practices. /liliBuild and maintain back-office APIs and admin tooling that internal teams and operators rely on. /liliStrengthen observability, monitoring, and alerting to ensure systems operate reliably under production load. /liliTroubleshoot production issues, optimize system performance, and proactively drive improvements. /liliShare knowledge with teammates and help raise the technical bar across the team. /li /ulh3What You’ll Bring /h3ulliGo: at least 3 years of hands-on experience building production-grade distributed systems. /liliApache Kafka: Experience with event streaming, messaging patterns, and integration into microservices. /liligRPC and Protocol Buffers for inter-service communication. /liliPostgreSQL and Redis in production environments. /liliDocker and containerized deployments. /liliEvent-driven architectures and event sourcing patterns: you’re comfortable reasoning about state, ordering, and idempotency. /liliProduct-minded: you think in terms of impact, user value, and business outcomes. /liliA strong communicator: you’re able to explain both technical and product concepts clearly. /liliYou thrive in ambiguity: when requirements are unclear, you ask the right questions, align with stakeholders, and find a way forward. /liliOrganized and proactive: you take ownership and keep things moving. /liliCollaborative: you enjoy working closely with engineers, designers, and stakeholders. /liliProficiency in professional‑level English communication, both written and verbal. /li /ulh3What We Would Like To See /h3pPlease note, these aren’t requirements, just things we think would be particularly valuable.
