ph3Overview /h3 pJob Description: A vacancy for Communications Connectivity System Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence Space - Air Power in Getafe. Successful applicant will join Comms Systems Architectures Team within A/C Connectivity Comms domain. /p h3Main Responsibilities /h3 ul liOverall Comms System Engineering Activities Coordination (Time, Cost and Quality) /li liOverall Comms L1 System Design /li liContribution to the requirements and the design for all chains and segments within Comms /li liContribution to L1 Integration and Verification, Certification, Security Accreditation Qualification /li liParticipation and contribution to L1 technical baselines and technical reviews /li liSupport Progress Reviews and Customer discussions /li liCoordination with Chief Engineering Office, other Systems Work Packages, and COMMS Design Offices /li liAdditionally, as member of a multi-programme team, contribute to other Transport A/C programmes architecture activities as backup and support. /li /ul h3Required Skills And Experience /h3 ul liEducated to degree level in Engineering, valuable PhD/Telecommunications Engineering Degree. /li liExperience in system engineering or Communications/Avionics related jobs. /li liA/C and Comms Architecture knowledge at least in one of the following platforms: /li liUAS, MRTT, C295, A400M /li liBe familiar with System Engineering processes (DPs / ABDs etc) /li liBe familiar with airworthiness and certification processes /li liBe familiar with Comms systems, at least one of the following disciplines. /li ul liVoice based Radio Communications (Radios, SATCOM, Intercom systems) /li liIP/Digital based communications (Datalinks, ROVER, SATCOM, LTE, etc) /li liTactical Datalinks (Link16, Link22 etc) /li /ul liAwareness on cyber security implications for airborne platforms will be highly considered. /li /ul pBe familiar with following tools and competences: /p ul liProject management and milestones follow-up /li liRequirements capture and traceability (DOORS) /li liConfiguration Control /li liModel Based Systems Development as Simulink, Matlab, CAMEO /li liProblem solving and decision making /li liAssertiveness /li liEnglish Fluent /li /ul pThis job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth. /p h3Company /h3 pAirbus Defence and Space SAU /p h3Employment Type /h3 pPermanent /p h3Experience Level /h3 pProfessional /p h3Job Family /h3 pComputingComm and Info Data Processing /p pBy submitting your CV or application you are consenting to Airbus using and storing information about you for monitoring purposes relating to your application or future employment.
