ppThe TA Access Strategy Lead coordinates the development and execution of an integrated, market‑specific access and pricing strategy across the product lifecycle. The role ensures timely, sustainable, and differentiated patient access for Immunology TA by shaping value strategies, guiding cross‑functional teams, and engaging key external stakeholders to support optimal reimbursement of the products within the TA and long‑term market access success. /ppThis role is based in Barcelona or Madrid, Spain. Novartis is unable to offer relocation support for this role: please only apply if this location is accessible for you. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliDevelop and coordinate the integrated access and pricing strategy for the specific TA across launch and lifecycle, aligning value proposition, positioning, and access ambition. /liliProvide access input into pipeline and Target Product Profiles within the specific TA, guiding indication sequencing, affordability considerations, and early access hypotheses. /liliDefine pricing, contracting, and negotiation strategies to achieve optimal reimbursement and sustainable access outcomes for the products within the TA. /liliLead cross‑functional TA coordination of access strategy execution, partnering closely with Commercial, Medical, HEOR/HTA, Regulatory, Policy, and Field teams. /liliDrive early access preparation activities for the products within the TA, consolidating cross‑functional inputs up to 36months pre‑launch to enable informed decision making. /liliShape healthcare system readiness and access landscape strategies and alternative funding approaches where relevant within the specific TA. /liliGather and integrate market, payer, and field insights into ongoing strategy refinement and portfolio decisions within the TA. /liliLead, develop, and inspire high‑performing teams, role‑modeling Novartis Leadership Expectations and an enterprise mindset. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliUniversity degree in life sciences, health economics, public health, business, or related field; advanced degree preferred; fluent English and Spanish are required. /liliPrevious solid experience in market access, pricing, or related disciplines. /liliPrevious leadership experience and experience within the relevant Therapeutic Area are required. /liliExperience engaging with payers, HTA bodies, health authorities, and/or external decision‑makers. /liliProven experience in market access, pricing, or related disciplines, including experience in access strategy and/or innovative access solutions. /liliStrong cross‑functional leadership skills with ability to lead complex initiatives in matrix environments. /liliDemonstrated experience across both field‑based roles (e.g., commercial or market access roles) and office‑based roles, with a strong understanding of how to integrate field insights into strategic decision‑making. /liliStrong analytical, strategic, and scenario‑planning capabilities to support access decision‑making. /liliExcellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and value story communication skills. /liliLearning agility, resilience, and ability to operate effectively under ambiguity and changing external conditions. /li /ulh3Rewards and Benefits /h3pAt Novartis, we’re committed to reimagining medicine together – and rewarding the people who make it happen. The salary offered is determined based on gender‑neutral objectives, such as relevant skills, competencies and experience in accordance with the Novartis pay setting policy and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. /ppIn addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for a performance‑based bonus depending on certain performance parameters.
