Position Summary As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) within GSK's RI&I Pipeline organization, you will serve as a trusted scientific partner to healthcare professionals, clinical investigators, and key internal stakeholders across Spain. You will deliver clear, balanced, and evidence‐based medical and scientific exchange, while gathering actionable clinical insights that shape medical strategy and support the successful development of pipeline assets. In this role, you will facilitate scientific engagement, support clinical research activities, and provide high‐quality scientific education in line with evolving medical and patient needs. We are looking for a scientifically curious, collaborative, and patient‐focused professional with strong communication skills and a passion for external engagement. Responsibilities This role will provide you with the opportunity to lead key activities that drive scientific engagement, support clinical development, and contribute to GSK's pipeline success. Key responsibilities include: • Build and maintain trusted scientific partnerships with principal investigators, study teams, and other key external stakeholders., • Identify enrollment and retention challenges and collaborate with investigators and site personnel to develop and implement effective solutions., • Support clinical trial feasibility assessments, site identification, prioritization, and selection activities to ensure successful study execution., • Contribute to the development of new and existing investigational sites by identifying capability gaps and opportunities to enhance research readiness., • Facilitate scientific exchange on clinical protocols, disease landscapes, emerging evidence, and areas of unmet medical need., • Deliver balanced, compliant, and evidence‐based scientific exchange through both in‐person and virtual interactions., • Provide scientific education and training to internal stakeholders, including field‐based and cross‐functional teams, to ensure a strong understanding of pipeline assets and disease areas., • Represent the Medical function at scientific meetings, congresses, and research forums, ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations., • Gather and communicate impactful clinical and scientific insights from the external environment to inform medical and development strategies. Basic Qualifications • Degree in a healthcare or life sciences discipline (e.g., Pharmacy, biology, medicine, chemistry, biotechnology, or related field)., • Experience in Medical Affairs and/or within Clinical Research, Clinical Operations., • Strong understanding of clinical trial design, conduct, and operational processes., • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain trusted scientific relationships with investigators and other external stakeholders., • Excellent scientific communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear and meaningful insights., • Ability to work effectively within cross‐functional teams in a highly collaborative environment., • Fluency in Spanish and professional working proficiency in English., • Full‐time availability and willingness to travel across Spain. Preferred Qualifications • Familiarity with local regulatory requirements, industry codes of practice, and compliance standards., • Knowledge of clinical research networks and experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms to capture insights and manage stakeholder engagement., • Experience delivering scientific presentations, education programs, or training sessions to healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders., • Proficiency with digital platforms and tools to support virtual scientific interactions and insight gathering. Work model This is a field‐based role based in Madrid, with regular travel across Spain. The position offers a flexible working model, combining field activities, remote working, and close collaboration with local and cross‐functional teams to support clinical development and scientific engagement activities.
