Job Summary Are you ready to transform the IFF Taste OT landscape into a more reliable, cost‐effective, connected and AI‐ready ecosystem? As Automation & Process Control lead you will own and drive the standardisation, architecture, and lifecycle management of the global process control and OT infrastructure landscape (ISA‐95 Levels 1–2) across manufacturing sites. You will ensure scalable and reliable control and infrastructure solutions, while supporting sites to deploy and sustain these standards—improving reliability, reducing complexity, and minimising vendor dependency. The role is based in Spain, Turkey or Slovenia. Where You'll Make a Difference Global OT & Process Control Standards • Define and govern vendor‐agnostic global standards and reference architectures/best practices across level 1-2 Industrial Control Systems (PLC/HMI/SCADA/DCS), • Establish and maintain standard URS/FRS frameworks for process control and OT systems to support consistent design, vendor engagement, and lifecycle management across sites, • Drive harmonisation & standardisation of Industrial Control Systems across Taste with your expertise and knowledge, • Reduce reliance on proprietary vendor ecosystems and build a knowledge base including:, • Approved vendors and technologies, • Standard configurations and architectures, • Reusable design patterns, • Ensure compliance with industrial standards and laws (e.g., ISA‐95, ISA‐99/ IEC62443 / NIS2) Global Deployment & Site Enablement • Act as technical authority for process control and OT infrastructure across all sites, • Identify and prioritise control system and infrastructure modernisation opportunities, • Support sites in implementing global standards during Control system upgrades (PLC/DCS migrations), • SCADA/historian deployments, • Infrastructure modernisation (networks, servers), • Support commissioning, testing (FAT/SAT), and validation of OT systems, • Capture lessons learnt from sites and continuously refine global standards Remote Support • Complex control system troubleshooting, • Control architecture design decisions, • Stability and reliability issues at L1‐L2, • Drive consistent execution across sites through close collaboration with engineering and operations teams Key Success Metrics • Adoption rate of global control and OT infrastructure standards, • Reduction in site‐vendor dependency, • Improved reliability and uptime of process control systems, • Reduced variability in control architectures across sites, • Lower lifecycle cost and complexity of OT systems What Makes You the Right Fit • Degree in Automation Engineering, Process Control, or related field, • 8+ years in batch process industries (biotech, food ingredients, specialty chemicals, pharma), • Strong hands‐on experience with PLC / DCS systems, SCADA / HMI platforms, Industrial networks and OT infrastructure, • Experience driving/supporting global deployments, • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills, • Ability to lead cross‐functional initiatives and drive compliance, • Solid understanding of industrial communication protocols commonly used in process control and OT environments (e.g. PROFINET, PROFIBUS, Modbus, Ethernet/IP, OPC), • Full professional proficiency in English How You Would Stand Out • Proven track record in any of the below areas:, • Strategic capability – Designed and deployed global OT standards, • Architecture thinking – Strong grasp of ISA‐95 L1‐L2 system architecture, • Execution at scale – Proven multi‐site rollout success, • Vendor independence mindset – Reduced dependency / unified platforms, • A balanced profile – Hands‐on + strategic + leadership Why Choose Us • Work on cutting‐edge automation and digitalisation projects, • Collaborate with diverse, talented teams across multiple disciplines, • Shape our OT team with your expert knowledge and vision, • Opportunities for continuous learning and professional growth, • Make a tangible impact on safety, quality and operational excellence, • Join a culture that values creativity, integrity, and collaboration Equal Opportunity Statement We consider all qualified candidates equally and based on merit, without regard to religion, ethnicity, national origin, race, age, veteran status, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation or disability. #J-18808-Ljbffr
