As part of the Flow Control Valves organization, you will own the product portfolio end to end—defining vision, driving innovation, and ensuring competitive, customer‑focused solutions that support business growth. You will work closely with sales, engineering, operations, and global product teams to deliver differentiated, profitable products aligned with market needs and Emerson’s values of innovation, integrity, collaboration, and inclusion. /p h3In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be /h3 ul liDefine and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Sliding Stem / control valves portfolio in alignment with FCV Europe growth objectives and market trends. /li liOwn the full product lifecycle, from concept and development through launch, sustainment, and phase‑out, identifying growth opportunities and proposing annual development plans. /li liBuild business cases to support new product development, portfolio optimization, and long‑term growth initiatives. /li liLead product launches, ensuring readiness across documentation, pricing, sales tools, training, and internal communication. /li liConduct market, customer, and competitive analysis to identify needs, emerging applications, and differentiation opportunities. /li liTranslate customer and market insights into clear product requirements for engineering, operations, and supply chain teams, collaborating closely with global Valve SBU partners. /li liPartner with European sales organizations to develop targeted growth plans and support commercial success through product training, technical positioning, and customer engagement. /li liLead cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, sales, operations, supply chain, and marketing to ensure successful product development and commercialization. /li liDevelop and maintain sales enablement tools, including application guides, industry content, competitive insights, and selling playbooks, in partnership with Marketing Communications. /li liMonitor product performance, profitability, and customer feedback, defining pricing, positioning, and improvement actions while leveraging digital and AI‑enabled tools to enhance decision‑making and sales enablement. /li /ul h3Who You Are /h3 pYou quickly and decisively take actions in fact‑changing, unpredictable situations.
