You will join the Gratia talent network to be placed on a critical, high‑profile standalone reporting initiative for this client. /p pOur client is seeking a highly specialized PAM Engineering Lead to support a critical standalone reporting initiative. This project requires adding five additional accounting bases and involves managing complex entity structures, business combinations, consolidations, and intercompany entries. /p pThis is a hybrid role requiring a unique blend of skills: you must possess a strong understanding of investment accounting business logic while also being a hands‑on engineer capable of executing in the codebase. You will not just be answering support questions; you will be analyzing how messages flow in and out of the portfolio accounting system and actively re‑architecting workflows to optimize performance. /p h3What you’ll be doing /h3 ul lipStrategize the technical design for adding multiple new reporting bases. Evaluate what the system provides out‑of‑the‑box versus what needs to be custom‑built to prevent report latency and ensure scalability. /p /li lipManage complex message workflows, integrating investment cash flows and ensuring accurate accounting basis treatments across interconnected entity structures. /p /li lipWork directly within the tech stack to build, configure, and modify system logic, data pipelines, and frontend/backend components. /p /li lipActively leverage enterprise AI tools (OpenAI, Anthropic, Copilot) deployed on the cloud to accelerate development and solve complex architectural challenges. /p /li /ul h3What we’re looking for /h3 ul lipStrong financial services or life insurance background with deep knowledge of investment accounting, cash flows, and Statutory (STAT) / NAIC basis exposure. /p /li lipDirect, technical experience with State Street PAM (Princeton Financial Systems / SSC PAM) is highly preferred. You must understand its underlying table structures and how it has been built/configured. /p /li lipHands‑on proficiency with Angular (Frontend), and .NET and Python (Backend). /p /li lipAbility to translate complex accounting and consolidation rules into actionable engineering tasks. /p /li /ul h3bLogistics details /b /h3 ul lipbLocation: /b El Segundo, CA.
