You will be expected to be located in this region. /p h3bWhat you will do /b /h3 ul liDrive the vision of our desktop experience /li liLead the roadmap of our desktop product /li liDrive partnerships with silicon vendors and OEMs /li liContribute to the largest Linux open source community /li liDefine future business models considering the competitive landscape /li liEngage with the Ubuntu user community, key partners, hardware manufacturers, and leading customers to enable commercial success and drive go-to-market /li /ul pThis role encompasses product leadership and go-to-market strategy, translating the product vision into actionable plans and successful market launches. Our product managers are technology professionals blending technical depth with strategic thinking, analytics, project management, and effective communication to meet user needs and business objectives. /p h3bWhat we are looking for in you /b /h3 ul liExceptional academic results at high school and university /li liUnderstanding of Linux and the wider open source software community /li liUnderstanding of computer architecture, application development, enterprise IT, cloud or devices /li liPassion to write about technologies and the tech landscape /li liStrong work ethic and alignment with the open source movement /li liCuriosity and a habit of continuous learning /li liStrong sense of ownership /li liProblem solving and the ability to innovate /li liOutstanding English communication skills, verbal and written /li liAbility to travel internationally up to 4 times a year for company events up to two weeks long /li /ul h3bNice-to-have skills /b /h3 ul liFamiliarity with the Linux open source software ecosystem including window managers (GNOME, KDE), identity management solutions, and application development frameworks /li liFamiliarity with the technology ecosystem including silicon, IHV, ISV, ODM/OEMs, cloud service providers /li liFamiliarity with data center, embedded and connected device technology and ecosystems /li /ul h3bWhat we offer you /b /h3 pCompensation is based on location, experience, and performance.
