We're looking for an experienced ERP Product Manager to join the Sage X3 team and help shape the product strategy for manufacturing and distribution customers. This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who combines strong ERP knowledge with solid exposure to manufacturing or distribution business processes - and who can translate that expertise into compelling product direction and market-facing vision. Sage X3 is an AI enabled cloud ERP solution designed for product-centric businesses: manufacturers, distributors, and the complex operational environments in between. It is a strategically important part of Sage's portfolio, and we have clear ambitions to lead on AI, automation, and time-to-value for our target segments. You will help make that ambition real - working across product strategy, roadmap, customer insight, and partner relationships to ensure Sage X3 stays ahead in its market. Build relationships with Product Delivery, Product Marketing, country sales teams, and key partners. Develop a clear picture of where the product is strong, where the gaps are, and where the biggest market opportunities lie. 60 Days : Begin contributing actively to product planning and roadmap discussions. Engage directly with customers and partners to gather insight and validate priorities. Start articulating your initial point of view on where Sage X3 should focus its manufacturing and distribution strategy, and how AI and automation capabilities can be positioned to drive differentiation. 90 Days : Own the manufacturing and distribution product vision for Sage X3. Your roadmap is defined, communicated, and aligned with key stakeholders across Product, Marketing, and Sales. You are the recognised internal and external voice of Sage X3's manufacturing and distribution strategy, contributing to customer conversations, partner discussions, and industry-facing activity. Meet the Team You'll join the Sage X3 Product Management team, working in close partnership with Product Delivery, Product Marketing, Growth managers, and country sales and marketing organisations. You'll also engage regularly with third-party integration partners and independent software vendors who extend the Sage X3 ecosystem. This is a cross-functional, influence-led role. You'll be the connective tissue between market insight, customer need, and product capability - bringing stakeholders together around a coherent strategy and ensuring Sage X3's manufacturing and distribution proposition is compelling, well-articulated, and commercially grounded. How Success Will Be Measured Growth in category ARR and new customer acquisition volume and value Customer NPS and retention and renewal rates within the manufacturing and distribution segment Quality, consistency, and timeliness of roadmap communication and change management Strength of partner and stakeholder relationships across the ecosystem Sage X3's competitive positioning and profile in the manufacturing and distribution market Qualifications Demonstrable ERP product management, implementation, or sales experience - with a strong understanding of how ERP solutions serve the needs of manufacturing and/or distribution businesses Solid knowledge of manufacturing or distribution business processes: production management, supply chain, inventory, operations, or adjacent domains Experience working in Agile product management and development environments Commercial acumen and experience bringing cloud technology products to market Strong analytical skills - able to identify market opportunities, interpret customer insight, and make well-reasoned product decisions Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - able to represent Sage X3 internally and externally with credibility and clarity Ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams in a fast-paced environment Nice-to-have 5–7+ years of product management experience, ideally in ERP, SaaS, or business management software Detailed knowledge of batch-based process or discrete manufacturing; familiarity with Food & Beverage, Chemicals, or Life Sciences is a strong differentiator ERP implementation or presales experience Degree-level education in a relevant subject; MBA or manufacturing qualifications are a plus Project management qualifications are advantageous Want to know more about our Product?: https://www.sage.com/en-us/sage-business-cloud/sage-x3/ At Sage, we offer you an environment where you can grow professionally without compromising your personal well-being.
