ppAt Next Gen Compute we tackle some of the most complex business problems precisely where emerging technology makes the difference: artificial intelligence, high-performance computing (HPC), and quantum computing applied to real-world use cases. /p pWe are looking for an Analyst/Consultant who not only understands these technologies, but knows how to turn an ambiguous business challenge into a tangible, measurable, high-impact computational solution. This is not a mechanical execution role: it is a role to build new capabilities, prototype fast, and demonstrate value where no clear answer existed before. /p pYou will work directly with the team at the frontier between computational science and technology strategy, with a special —though not exclusive— focus on Life Sciences: drug discovery, computational biology, and computational chemistry. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 h3Use cases applied development /h3 ul liTranslate business challenges into applied AI and HPC solutions, from conceptualization to proof of concept (PoC) and pilot. /li liDesign, prototype, and validate end-to-end use cases, prioritizing usable outcomes and short iteration cycles. /li liAdapt and evaluate emerging models and frameworks (GenAI, foundation models, GPU acceleration) to each client’s context and constraints. /li /ul h3Delivery collaboration /h3 ul liTake part in the full project lifecycle: problem analysis, solution design, implementation, and communication of results. /li liCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams (client, business, data engineering, domain scientists), translating complex technical work into actionable recommendations. /li liDocument rigorously, ensuring reproducibility and quality across every deliverable. /li /ul h3Technology exploration /h3 ul liMonitor trends in AI, HPC, and quantum computing, and identify application opportunities and new offerings. /li liContribute to reusable assets, accelerators, and thought-leadership material that position the team at the technology frontier. /li /ul h3Required skills /h3 ul liBachelor’s or Master’s in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or an equivalent quantitative discipline. /li li1 to 6 years of experience (Analyst–Consultant range) in data science, AI, or applied technologies; experience in RD or consulting is a plus. /li liProficiency in Python for analysis (Jupyter) and solid data‑engineering practices. /li liHands‑on Linux/shell (Bash) proficiency and comfort working in command‑line environments. /li liHPC cluster management and workload orchestration: SLURM (job scheduling, batch/array jobs, resource allocation), environment modules (Lmod), and containerized workloads (Singularity/Apptainer, Docker). /li liFamiliarity with HPC infrastructure and parallel computing: GPU computing (CUDA), MPI, job scaling, and ML/DL model deployment on clusters. /li liA plus: notions of quantum computing and knowledge of bioinformatics, biochemistry, or computational chemistry. /li liAbility to work with ambiguity, structure complex problems, and deliver results autonomously. /li liClear communication with both technical and business audiences; professional English (the team is global). /li liCuriosity, a continuous‑improvement mindset, and orientation toward real impact. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
