About the Job Based in Barcelona and part of Allianz Technology SL, the Portfolio Owner manages the governance and continuous improvement of the project portfolio to ensure strategic alignment, value realization, and transparency. The portfolio owner operates proactively and independently to maintain portfolio processes, coordinate demand intake, support prioritization, manage dependencies and risks, and provide clear reporting that enables effective investment and delivery decisions. You will collaborate closely with project managers, product owners, finance, security, and operations to ensure an integrated view of the portfolio across scope, schedule, capacity, and financials. This role is ideal for a motivated, early‑career professional with 2 years of experience who thrives on taking ownership, driving outcomes, and working with minimal supervision. What You Do Operate the end-to-end project portfolio lifecycle, including intake, prioritization, planning, execution tracking, and sunsetting of initiatives. Maintain the portfolio inventory and roadmap, ensuring accurate metadata (scope, KPIs, risks, dependencies, milestones, financials) and audit‑ready documentation. Prepare and facilitate governance forums (agenda, materials, minutes, actions), ensuring timely follow‑up on decisions, risks, and dependencies. Track portfolio performance through KPIs and dashboards; highlight trends and recommend corrective actions to leadership. Coordinate with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, cost transparency, and benefits realization tracking. Drive cross‑team alignment (Technology, Security, People & Culture, Procurement, Operations) to resolve blockers and optimize delivery flow. Improve portfolio practices and tooling (e.g., PPM tools, Jira, ServiceNow, Power BI/Tableau), standardizing processes and templates. Support decommissioning and rationalization to focus investment on the highest‑value initiatives. What You Bring 3 years of experience in project portfolio management, PMO, or a related delivery governance role within technology. A proactive, self‑starter mindset with strong ownership; able to work independently and "run with the role" with minimal supervision. Working knowledge of PPM and ITSM frameworks (e.g., Agile/SAFe, ITIL) and experience with tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, or PPM suites. Strong analytical and reporting skills; proficiency with Excel and at least one visualization tool (Power BI or Tableau). Stakeholder management and clear communication skills across business, technology, and leadership levels; experience facilitating governance forums. Basic financial acumen (budget tracking, cost/benefit, benefits realization) and fluency in English and Spanish. Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use.
