ppThe bQuality Engineer /bwill evaluate and/or appraise supplier's manufacturing capabilities to baseline their processes for conformance to various documented commodity checklists, and/or QMS special processes. Establishes part quality evaluation plans from materials requests through material receipt (full life-cycle). Provides resolution and disposition of non-conformance materials to ensure adequate corrective action. /p ul liThe bQuality Engineer /bis highly supplier-focused, requiring excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) to manage supplier quality assurance responsibilities and ensure compliance across and at all levels of the organization on major programs from design through production stages. /li liEvaluation of manufacturing functions and processes to ensure Quality Standards are in place /li liEvaluation of inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications. /li liParticipate in QMS Audits for process deficiency and correction. /li liEnsures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements. /li liInteract in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality. /li liInvolved in lean and six-sigma quality engineering methodologies. /li liWill have 'hands-on' knowledge and experience of mechanical (Machine Shop) components, assembly, subsystem and system level concepts. /li liStrong emphasis on RCCA and CAPA experience. /li liUnderstanding of FMEA and Process Improvements and Standardization of Processes /li /ul pbRequired Skills: /b /p ul liMinimum 3-5 years with LEAN Manufacturing Application experience. /li li3-5 years' experience in areas of Quality Engineering such as: FMEA, SPC, RCCA, Process Control, Product Evaluation and Auditing /li li2-3 years' working knowledge and experience with ISO9100 and AS9100 QMS Processes, especially in Production and Quality Engineering /li li2-3 years' working knowledge and experience with Aircraft Parts and Material Conformity Inspections /li li3-5 years FAI experience with AS9102 (FAI) Protocol /li li3-5 years' knowledge and experience with inspection methods, techniques and protocols. /li li3-5 years' experience in understanding and the application of Engineering Mechanical Processes, Standard Drawings Conventions, Interpreting Drawing Specifications (ANSI 14.5) and GDT /li li3-5 years' experience in understanding and the application of Electronic Assembly Process and Inspection, Standard Conventions (IPC-610, J-Std-1000), Interpreting Schematic Diagrams and Specifications /li liAirframe experience required /li liAVMS electronic experience required /liliStrong English verbal and written communication skills /li liReliable transportation must have current/active drivers' license /li liValid drivers license and auto insurance required /li liUS citizenship required -Trigo ADR Americas can restrict hiring to US when government contracts require us to do so. 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(2)(C). /li /ul pbRequired Education (including certifications): /b /p ul liIn lieu of a Degree, 6+ years of hands-on experience as a Quality Engineering in an Aerospace Manufacturing Environment /li liHigh School or GED /li /ul pbEducation and Skills (including certifications): /b /p ul liBachelor's degree is from an accredited college in technical discipline (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management) /li liProficient with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) /li liCompatible certifications or related college courses /li liTeam-minded, communicative, proactive, stress-resistant, assertive /li liStrong interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills /li /ul pbWORKING CONDITIONS /bbr/bProductivity /b: Incumbents must perform work in an efficient, effective, and timely manner with minimal direction.br/Mobility: Incumbents are required to participate in assigned physical activities which may include light lifting and sitting for prolonged periods of time.br/bVision /b: Vision sufficient to read printed documents, computer screens, and observe behavior of others.br/bEnvironment: /b Typical office conditions, directly working Quality management team, working with the TRIGO team, and external customers.br/bOther Factors: /b Typical hours worked are Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Incumbents may be required to work occasional extended hours and weekend overtime.br/The employee frequently is required to use hands or finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
