Good luck in your job search! /ph3Qualifications /h3ulliC2 level competence in English and the ability to teach English at both lower and advanced levels /liliEU national/valid Spanish work permit /liliUniversity degree or higher education qualification /liliCELTA/Trinity College TEFL qualification or similar that includes classroom teaching experience /liliPrevious teaching experience in a similar context including experience teaching Cambridge exams /liliB1 level of Spanish /liliInternational Child Protection Certificate (ICPC for UK Nationals) and a Spanish "certificado de penales" /liliWorking IT skills /liliAt least 2 satisfactory references /li /ulh3Salary and Benefits /h3pFrom €1,305 per month (gross) ≈ £1,112 / $1,492. Salary is for 20 teaching hours: Monday through Thursday (25 contract hours: contract includes 5 hours of class preparation, assessment and PD). Most class hours are Monday–Thursday and teaching and classroom preparation schedules are usually between the hours of 14:00–21:00. Schedules with fewer teaching hours will be paid pro‑rata. /ppOptional teaching hours are available on Friday afternoons: Cambridge Exam Preparation or Art Culture Classes. Teachers are paid €50 per session for these monthly classes and can sign up to teach them at the beginning of the school year. Friday sessions are optional and may be pre‑arranged; they are 2 teaching hours (3.5 hours including preparation) and paid €50 gross per session. /ppAll contracts include full national health and social security cover.
