The primary location is Madrid, Spain, and the secondary location is Barcelona. /p h3Position Summary /h3 pThe Associate Director, Product Mastering is responsible for maintaining and governing an end-to-end mastering capability for product‑related data, from compounds in Therapeutic Discovery through regulatory and commercialization and loss of exclusivity. The role ensures that product master data—including compounds, formulations, investigational products, clinical identifiers, regulatory submissions, and commercial brand hierarchies—is trusted, harmonized, and semantically consistent across the entire RD to Commercial continuum. The AD will work cross‑functionally within RD, Data Science, and support the development of ontologies and knowledge graphs to connect and contextualize product information across silos, enabling advanced analytics, AI/ML, regulatory compliance, and interoperability. /p h3Key Responsibilities – End‑to‑End Product Mastering Strategy /h3 ul liHelp develop and execute a data management strategy covering the full product lifecycle: from discovery through commercialization and LOE. /li liEnsure a single, authoritative source of truth through stewardship of all product‑related master data, harmonized across functions and systems. /li liIdentify gaps, redundancies, and opportunities for automation, external data partnerships, and standards alignment. /li /ul h3Governance Standards /h3 ul liEstablish stewardship and governance models for product master data across RD, Supply Chain and Commercial. /li liDefine and enforce standards for product hierarchies and data model extensions. /li liPartner with Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial to ensure product mastering supports submission, labeling, and compliance needs. /li /ul h3Integration Collaboration /h3 ul liCollaborate with Knowledge Management, Data Products, and Metadata/Cataloging teams to ensure product master data is discoverable, connected, and reusable across the enterprise. /li liAlign with parallel MDM domains (e.g., patient, site, account) to ensure cross‑domain consistency and best practices. /li /ul h3Quality, Performance Communication /h3 ul liMonitor dashboards and track KPIs for product master data quality, timeliness, and traceability across the lifecycle. /li liProvide governance dashboards and reports to RD and Commercial leadership. /li liCommunicate the vision, progress, and value realization of product mastering to senior executives and cross‑functional stakeholders. /li /ul h3Qualifications – Education /h3 ul liBachelor or Master’s in life sciences, regulatory sciences, informatics, data science, or related field.
