This person will be a key partner in financial reporting to shareholders, translating numbers into business insight and ensuring Finance provides the strategic rationale behind performance, risks, and opportunities. /p pThe bGlobal Financial Controller /b will supervise and coordinate the financial management of multiple countries, consolidating accounting and tax information through robust local processes and global policies. Beyond ensuring transparency, efficiency, and compliance, this role will actively influence how financial information drives business decisions and will lead the automation and AI-enablement of the Finance and Administration function. /p h3What you will do /h3 h3Financial Accounting Close /h3 ul liLead and coordinate month-end and year-end closings across business units within scope, ensuring accuracy, strong analysis, and a clear strategic narrative behind the numbers. /li liOversee general ledger integrity, reconciliations, and consolidation of financial information. /li liManage intercompany processes, ensuring accurate tracking, reconciliation, and eliminations for consolidation. /li /ul h3Accounts Payable Receivable /h3 ul liSupervise billing, revenue reconciliation, and accounts receivable processes. /li liEnsure proper validation and reconciliation of supplier invoices and purchase processes. /li /ul h3Treasury Cash Management /h3 ul liCoordinate payments and collections across multiple markets, including intercompany flows. /li liOwn cash flow forecasts and translate liquidity trends into actionable recommendations for senior leadership. /li /ul h3Financial Reporting, Control Strategic Insight /h3 ul liBe a key contributor to reports and analysis prepared for shareholders, ensuring financial information is accurate, consistent, and translated into a clear business narrative. /li liProvide the strategic rationale behind variances, risks, and opportunities, helping the business understand how the figures influence performance, priorities, and decisions. /li liOwn recurring and ad hoc financial reporting for HQ, senior leadership, and shareholder materials, ensuring outputs are clear, consistent, and decision-oriented. /li liEnsure compliance with KPIs, accounting deadlines, and internal controls across subsidiaries while proactively flagging risks, opportunities, and decisions required. /li liLead the finance automation roadmap, including ERP optimization (NetSuite), process redesign, and the practical implementation of AI tools within the finance team. /li liAnalyze FX, margin, working capital, and profitability drivers, connecting financial variances to commercial and operational decisions. /li liBuild scalable, automated reporting processes that reduce manual effort and improve the speed and quality of decision-making. /li /ul h3Tax Audit /h3 ul liEnsure compliance with local tax, legal, and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions. /li liSupport internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of information. /li /ul h3Team Leadership, Business Partnership Transformation /h3 ul liLead and develop the accounting team within scope, setting clear priorities, raising the quality of output, and building a more automated, data-driven finance culture. /li liAct as a proactive financial partner to commercial, operations, HR, and executive stakeholders, challenging assumptions and supporting decisions with clear financial logic. /li liIdentify inefficiencies, make recommendations, and lead end-to-end improvements across financial processes with minimal supervision. /li /ul h3Requirements of the role /h3 ul liDegree in Accounting, Finance or Economics. A master’s degree will be a plus. /li liMinimum 6 years of relevant experience in Financial/Accounting/Controlling roles (ideally Big Four), including at least 3 years in regional or multi-country positions managing teams and working with senior finance leadership. /li liExposure to accounting and consolidation in multiple countries is necessary. /li libORACLE NetSuite /b knowledge is a must. /li libExperience in Big Four highly appreciated. /b /li liExperience with SAP very desirable as well. /li libAdvanced Level of English (C1) is a must. /b /li liExperience in financial statement consolidation, financial planning, auditing, and preparing senior-level management/shareholder reporting. /li liAdvanced Excel skills. /li liExperience in fast growth tech companies will be extremely valued. /li liOverseas experience would be an important asset. /li liExperience in the digital advertising industry will be a plus. /li liStrong knowledge of financial processes and control requirements, with the ability to connect accounting outputs to business performance and strategic decision-making. /li liProven ability to understand business issues, interpret the strategic implications of the figures, and balance standardization, efficiency, and commercial impact. /li liProject management experience, with a strong focus on ERP (Netsuite) development, automation, finance systems improvement, and AI-enabled process transformation. /li liAbility to work independently with low supervision, proactively set priorities, make sound decisions, and demonstrate strong ownership and judgment. /li liStrong curiosity for technology, automation, and AI, with the ambition to lead change inside the finance function. /li liComfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and preparing information that supports board/shareholder-level discussions. /li liWell-developed interpersonal and teamwork skills are critical. Ability to network and develop relationships.
