Our services ensure smooth operations, allowing Air Force and government personnel to focus on their missions. We provide program management, civil engineering, morale, welfare, and recreation support, among other essential services. Awarded by the Air Force Installation Contracting Center, our contract spans a five-year base period with three one-year options, reflecting our commitment to excellence and operational support. /p h3Job Summary /h3 pInstall, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, operate and maintain electrical power generation and distribution equipment. Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, operate and maintain Aircraft Arresting Systems and associated equipment. You will ensure the safety of each team member and in addition, you are responsible for safeguarding assigned tools, equipment, and other resources efficiently. /p h3Roles And Responsibilities /h3 ul liInstall, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and operate diesel generator sets from 10kw to 350kw ensuring on-time and accurate completion in accordance with blueprints/drawings and or written instructions. /li liConnect diesel generator sets and electrical distribution switchgear to include installation of panel boards, branch circuits, breakers, switches, conduit, and wiring. /li liPerform full range of organization-level maintenance; scheduled and unscheduled repairs and maintenance, troubleshooting and diagnostic testing in power generation equipment. /li liPerform Aircraft Arresting System (AAS) maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs within strict Air Force standards. /li liPerform start/run operational inspections on generator sets and full load/facility load tests, routine operational checks of all electrical switchgear, power cabling, and transformers. /li liTroubleshoot electrical generator sets to include all internal systems and components. /li liWork standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment and using a variety of electrician's hand tools and measuring and testing instruments. /li liPerform tasks to ensure on-time and accurate work completion in accordance with Performance Work Statement requirements, blueprints/drawings and or written instructions. /li liRead and interpret electrical and electronic schematic wiring diagrams, manufacturers’ literature, and standard operating procedures. /li liUse test equipment to troubleshoot electronic/electrical equipment. /li liMaintain inventory of supplies, parts, tools, and equipment as applicable. /li liParticipate and actively ensure the safety of all KBR employees. /li liDaily use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to complete reports, tasks, and communicate with customers and co-workers /li liPhysical requirements include being able to lift 50 kilos, climbing ladders, extended sitting or standing, and working in normal and adverse weather conditions, to include high temperatures, noisy and dusty both indoors and outdoors. /li liEvaluate, troubleshoot electrical equipment and systems to determine corrective action /li /ul h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul liMust have FP-2 Diploma, technical school completion or equivalent. /li liMust have at least 5 years of trade related work experience with generator produced power and switching systems producing up to 400v. /li liMust have broad knowledge of internal combustion engines and electrical principles. /li liMust have familiarity with the American and Spanish electrical code and connectors. /li liMust have ability to communicate in native language, and proficient in English to perform assigned duties. /li liMust possess a Spanish Class ‘B’ driver’s license. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liEnglish Reading Level II, Written Level II, Verbal Level II. /li /ul h3KBR Benefits /h3 pLocal Nationals (LN) personnel will receive benefits in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement (CBA) within the appropriate country location where they reside.
