COMPENSATION $120,000-140,000 (depending on experience), additional incentives tied to KPIs EMPLOYMENT TYPE Full-time, remote position. POSITION SUMMARY The Manufacturing Manager owns RIBUS' full production chain end-to-end, from raw materials through finished goods in the warehouse to fulfillment out the door. This covers the Sparks, NV facility (with the existing Plant Manager), all contract manufacturing partners in the U.S. (with potential international expansion), oversight of supply chain scheduling and logistics (with the existing Supply Chain Specialist), 3rd party warehousing, and order fulfillment (with the existing Order Fulfillment Specialist). This is a new role created to provide single-point ownership of the manufacturing operations as RIBUS scales, with budget accountability across all of it. Quality remains a separate, independent function; finance retains independent audit and reconciliation authority over the numbers this function produces. OBJECTIVES (What you’ll own) • On-time, in-spec, cost-effective production and fulfillment across all RIBUS manufacturing and warehousing locations., • The manufacturing and operations budget — planning, tracking, and variance management across production, supply chain, and fulfillment., • Supply chain scheduling and logistics performance, delivered through the Supply Chain Specialist., • Fulfillment and warehousing operations, from finished-goods receipt through outbound shipment, delivered through the Order Fulfillment Specialist., • Vendor and contract manufacturer relationships and performance, including scorecards and QBR., • Efficiency outcomes across all locations — waste, cycle time, and downtime and root cause analysis., • The manufacturing, supply chain, and fulfillment metric framework, including escalation of performance issues to senior management., • New product manufacturing onboarding at co-man locations., • SOPs for all RIBUS co-man production processes., • Resolution of product downgrades and non-conformances at co-man sites., • A pipeline of continuous improvement opportunities across production, supply chain, and fulfillment., • Remote management of three direct reports in Sparks, NV: Supply Chain Specialist, Plant Manager, Order Fulfillment Specialist, including their performance and development., • Responsible for cGMP and FDA 21 CFR Part 111 compliance outcomes and CAPA resolution at co-man locations., • Cross-site production efficiency benchmarking (a new capability for RIBUS)., • A formal change control process for co-man process or material changes COMPETENCIES (How the work needs to be done) • Cross-functional leadership — driving results through others (Supply Chain, Production, Order Fulfillment) and in close coordination with Quality, rather than direct site control., • Financial acumen — budget planning and variance analysis with real cost accountability., • Systems fluency — comfort with Sage X3 for production tracking documentation (WOs, SCOs)., • Vendor/contract manufacturer management — aligning external partners to RIBUS specs, processes, and reporting standards., • Data-driven management — Tracking all data to existing metrics, and escalating issues with the data to back it up., • People development — coaching and growing managers, not just directing them., • Regulatory and quality fluency — working knowledge of cGMP and FDA 21 CFR Part 111 (dietary supplement) requirements., • Process design and documentation — building SOPs and formal change control from the ground up., • Continuous improvement mindset — proactively finding efficiency gains rather than waiting for problems to surface., • Structured business review discipline — running formal scorecards and QBRs as an ongoing management rhythm, not ad hoc check-ins., • Curious in nature and willing to bring solutions and suggestions to the team., • Interested in or have already adopted the use of AI into your own life. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or operations management., • Experience managing contract manufacturers or co-packing relationships., • Experience with production planning, supply chain/logistics, and fulfillment operations in food or nutraceutical production facility., • Working knowledge of cGMP and HACCP; familiarity with FDA 21 CFR Part 111 (dietary supplements) or Part 110/117 (food) a plus., • Experience with ERP systems (Sage X3 preferred)., • Budget ownership and management experience., • Understanding of CAPA processes and non-conformance management., • Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple production and fulfillment locations simultaneously., • Willingness and ability to travel to co-manufacturing sites, both domestic and international., • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
