OPERATIONS MANAGER, EVENTS & PARTNERSHIPS \n AltSocial Wellness Club \n Job Type: Full time, W 2 salaried position \n Salary: $45,000 to $60,000 per year, based on experience \n Location: Fully remote, with required in person meetings and travel to events in Orlando and Tampa \n Benefits: Health insurance is not currently provided \n \n ABOUT ALTSOCIAL \n AltSocial is a high energy wellness event company redefining what it means to be social. Our ticketed events bring together fitness, recovery, cold plunges, saunas, live DJs, wellness brands, food and beverage, group fitness, and community in a sober, uplifting day party environment. \n \n We produce events throughout Orlando and Tampa and are building a fast growing business with a strong focus on operational excellence, sponsor value, attendee experience, and long term community growth. \n \n THE ROLE \n We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and accountable Operations Manager to own the planning and execution behind every AltSocial event. \n \n This is not simply an event day role. This person will be responsible for building the operational systems that allow AltSocial to scale. They will manage sponsor onboarding, venue planning, event maps, call times, load in, volunteer coordination, storage and inventory, event documentation, and event day execution. \n \n The right person is comfortable managing many moving parts at once, communicates clearly, follows through without being chased, and can balance high level planning with detailed execution. \n \n KEY RESPONSIBILITIES \n \n Sponsor and Partner Onboarding \n • Review signed sponsor agreements and ensure all contracted deliverables are properly tracked and executed \n • Work closely with sales and marketing leadership to understand sponsor needs, activation details, marketing commitments, and event day expectations \n • Collect sponsor information including activation details, equipment lists, dimensions, staffing, power needs, insurance, permits, branding materials, and event day contacts \n • Help sponsors elevate their activations so they are engaging, visually strong, operationally sound, and positioned to generate leads and return on investment \n • Identify operational concerns early, including power, space, safety, staffing, timing, vehicle access, and venue restrictions \n \n Venue Planning and Event Layout \n • Conduct venue site visits and understand the operational needs of each property \n • Build and manage event maps that outline sponsor placement, cold plunges, saunas, group fitness areas, DJ and audio zones, check in, merch, food and beverage, parking, load in, and attendee flow \n • Coordinate with venues on power access, water access, parking, vendor loading, noise, safety, insurance, and other event requirements \n • Ensure the venue is informed, prepared, and confident in AltSocial’s execution \n \n Event Logistics and Event Day Execution \n • Create sponsor, vendor, volunteer, and staff call times for each event \n • Build load in, parking, traffic flow, setup, breakdown, and load out plans \n • Coordinate sponsor arrivals, complex activations, trailers, trucks, large equipment, and special setup needs \n • Lead setup and operational execution on event day \n • Manage event readiness, sponsor support, volunteers, paid event day staff, equipment, safety, and breakdown \n • Work with the DJ, audio, and group fitness teams to ensure speakers, microphones, sound zones, and class audio needs are properly planned and executed \n \n Volunteer and Staffing Management \n • Recruit, screen, schedule, train, and manage AltSocial’s volunteer team \n • Maintain a healthy pipeline of dependable volunteers through online applications, social media, referrals, and community outreach \n • Create volunteer schedules, call times, role assignments, event day directives, and communication plans \n • Manage paid event day personnel and ensure they are prepared, accountable, and clear on their responsibilities \n • Lead event day team huddles and maintain strong communication across volunteers, staff, sponsors, and venue contacts \n \n Equipment, Storage, and Inventory \n • Maintain an organized storage system for all AltSocial equipment and supplies \n • Manage inventory of tents, signage, cold plunges, sauna equipment, radios, coolers, merchandise, wristbands, tools, power supplies, extension cords, and event materials \n • Build packing lists, setup checklists, breakdown checklists, and U Haul load plans \n • Coordinate U Haul loading before each event and ensure all equipment is accounted for after each event \n • Identify missing, damaged, or low stock items before they become event day problems \n \n Systems and Accountability \n • Create and improve standard operating procedures for core AltSocial functions \n • Maintain event readiness trackers and ensure all departments are aligned before each event \n • Manage recurring event documents, including event run of show, venue maps, sponsor instructions, volunteer schedules, load in guides, parking instructions, safety protocols, and equipment checklists \n • Participate in weekly accountability meetings with leadership and department heads \n • Identify risks, missing information, delayed deliverables, and operational concerns early and drive them to resolution \n \n WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR \n \n • Strong event operations, event production, hospitality, experiential marketing, or project management background \n • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail \n • Comfortable managing many deadlines, people, vendors, and priorities at once \n • Strong written and verbal communication skills \n • Able to lead people calmly and effectively in fast paced event environments \n • Experience working with sponsors, vendors, venues, volunteers, or event staff \n • Ability to create systems, checklists, trackers, and repeatable processes \n • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while staying highly accountable \n • Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and event days as needed \n • Willingness to travel to Orlando and Tampa for AltSocial events and required in person meetings \n • Experience with Google Workspace, spreadsheets, project management tools, and event planning software is preferred \n \n WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE \n Success in this role means AltSocial events are organized, professional, and increasingly scalable. Sponsors feel prepared and supported. Venues feel informed and confident. Volunteers know exactly what they are responsible for. Equipment is organized and ready. Event documents are accurate and sent on time. Last minute issues are reduced because problems are identified and solved before event day.
