The in-residence rehabilitation program focuses on basic necessities with every man or woman being provided a clean and healthy living environment, good food, work therapy, leisure time activities, group and individual counseling, and spiritual direction. All our effort is focused on developing life skills and a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. More than just a job, each member of the team contributes to recycling goods that literally recycle and repair broken lives. The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to assist the Store Manager with managing store operations and in supervision of store personnel. Duties and Responsibilities: • Assist in creating a pleasant and hospitable work environment and maintain good customer relationships., • Be well-versed in and ensure compliance to accounting, employee, and store policies., • Assist the manager in meeting sales, production, and expense budget goals maintaining a profitable operation., • Ensure that all production is taken from the back room and properly displayed on the sales floor., • Receive applications and participate in interviewing applicants as needed., • Assist in training, direction, and supervision of new personnel along with retraining for all personnel, as necessary., • Assist, as required, in conducting regular evaluations of store personnel, identifying performance strengths and areas for development., • Assist in scheduling of sales associates (and unpaid staff) to ensure full coverage in store at all times. In the absence of the manager, post weekly work schedules for all store personnel. Schedule must include assignment, breaks, vacation, etc., • Assist in completion of payroll information biweekly for all store personnel noting signatures, absenteeism, overtime, etc. Submit to finance department as requested., • In the absence of the manager, responsible to order merchandise to ensure that the store is well stocked, and all merchandise is “ragged out” and colorized in accordance with the ARC Command Rag Out Calendar., • Responsible for the proper accounting and banking of cash receipts as per “Safekeeping of Salvation Army Funds” policy., • Ensure that all paperwork and sales reports are filled out completely and forwarded to the finance department daily., • In the absence of the manager, attend manager meetings and keep store personnel informed of new policies and directives., • Ensure that all safety measures are consistent with The Salvation Army policy and Government regulations and hold staff accountable for compliance. Report safety hazards, property damage and personal injuries to Administrator, Store Supervisor, or designee., • May be asked to fill in at other store locations., • This position will support the work therapy program component of The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Centers by providing beneficiaries with an example of professional conduct and work habits., • Other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and/or Administrator. Duties: • Responsible for enforcement of house rules and policies and overall security of center during evening and early morning hours. This includes: ‘lights out’, breathalyzing, drug testing, sign-out/in, bed checks, monitoring adherence to dress codes and attendance at meetings. Report must include move from beneficiary to transition status (employee or non-employee)., • Record statistical information specific to your area of responsibility and submit to Administrator/designee at the beginning of each week (weekly reports) and/or no later than the third business day following the end of the month (monthly reports)., • Arrange for the following (according to center policy): distribution of gratuities and beneficiaries’ mail, emergency transportation, late dinners, pick up/drop off of prescriptions, activity attendance sheets, maintenance of drug screening and breathalyzing equipment, keeping beneficiaries’ personal inventories current, safety meetings, fire drills, meeting (and other) announcements., • Ensure that the “house” wakes on time for breakfast, that beneficiaries are in attendance at morning devotions and program activities, and that they arrive at Work Therapy Assignments (WTA) on time. Report to their work therapy supervisor any beneficiary on sick call., • Ensure that Housekeeping Monitor has access to supplies for janitorial team and other necessary supplies., • Submit inventory of supplies is submitted to Administrator for Program weekly., • Report repair and maintenance needs to Administrator for Program/designee immediately., • Assign personnel for relief responsibilities (security) and/or relieve security personnel during meals, breaks, program meetings., • Make beneficiaries aware of policies by conducting orientation class and answering questions regarding center policies., • Issue clothing voucher for new beneficiaries ensuring all have proper Sunday attire., • Sell canteen tickets as required., • Ensure maintenance of vending machines. Hand deliver canteen and vending machine money, collections and offering to the bookkeeper and obtain written receipt every morning that the Finance office is open., • Responsible for recreation and sports activities as assigned by Administrator., • Attend weekly staff meetings and all meetings as requested by Administrator., • Ensure that residence is in order and restrooms are adequately supplied on Sunday morning., • Have clear understanding of policy regarding confidentiality, response to law enforcement personnel, and procedure for medical emergencies., • Complete monthly Work Therapy Evaluations for beneficiaries in housekeeping and security., • Oversee beneficiaries in canteen, janitorial and front desk/security work therapy assignments., • This position will support the work therapy program component of The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Centers by providing to beneficiaries; an example of professional conduct, work habits, and supervision (as directed by Supervisor)., • Other duties as may be assigned by immediate supervisor and/or Administrator. The Adult Rehabilitation Center is seeking an Intake Coordinator to work cooperatively with Program staff to maintain a quality intake system. Duties: • Be a part of a team that provides a caring, respectful atmosphere to those seeking our help., • Work cooperatively with all ARC staff, beneficiaries, and other outside agencies., • Develop and maintain a network of outside referral sources by telephone, letter, and personal contact to: (1) arrange for the referral of applicants to The Salvation Army ARC program; (2) arrange for outside sources to tour and view The Salvation Army ARC program; and (3) make appropriate referrals to resources outside the ARC program., • Interview, assess, and process necessary paper work for applicants to the ARC program, striving to maintain a full capacity at all times. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and managing the systems that drive velocity and efficiency in our payer and credentialing operations. You will develop a command center to oversee Provider credentialing status, group IDs, and payer-specific requirements. Enrollment timelines, contracting gaps, and state-by-state market readiness Payer mix, reimbursement rates, and margin implications. Denial patterns and root causes related to setup issues. You will have the autonomy to work cross-functionally with Finance, RCM, legal, vendors, payer representatives, and clinical operations to build and manage these critical systems, ensuring seamless and rapid revenue cycle management. 3. Create the KPI dashboard and management cadence. You will build and maintain dashboards that track key metrics, including providers hired, credentialed, and in the pipeline. WHO YOU ARE: You've likely been an operator at a scaling healthcare company. Ideally, behavioral health, digital health, value-based care, or tech-enabled provider services. You have 10–12 years of experience and have repeatedly solved problems at earlier-stage startups: building functions, systems, and operating rhythms from scratch and/or inheriting them. Strong fits may come from scaling specialty or behavioral health companies, post-series A tech-enabled provider services, or similar digital health startups. A consulting background can help, but only when paired with real operating experience afterward.
