Please take a moment to watch our video to learn more about our culture and contributions to our members: youtu.be/hYNdMGLn19A Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Solutions Architect with deep hands-on expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) configuration, development, and solution design. This is a highly technical individual contributor role and is not responsible for direct staff supervision. The position requires a practitioner who can independently design, configure, develop, and troubleshoot solutions across all F&O modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Bank and Cash Management, Allocations, Reconciliations, Project Management, and Expense Management. The ideal candidate will possess broad expertise across the broader Microsoft technology stack, including Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI), Azure, and Dataverse, and will be capable of delivering end-to-end solutions from requirements gathering through implementation, testing, deployment, post-production support. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Designs, configures, develops, and supports Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) solutions across all applicable modules, including General Ledger (GL), Finance Close & Financial Reporting, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Bank & Cash Management, Allocations, Reconciliations, Project Management, and Expense Management., • Performs hands-on system configuration, X++ development, customizations, and data entity development within Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O., • Designs and develops custom Power Apps solutions and Power Automate workflows to extend F&O functionality and automate business processes., • Configures, develops, and maintains Power BI dashboards and reports leveraging F&O, Dataverse, and related data sources., • Leads ERP optimization initiatives through hands-on system configuration, performance analysis, troubleshooting, and process improvements., • Designs, develops, and implements AI-driven solutions and automation to support allocations, reconciliations, workflows, expense management, and other finance processes., • Architects, configures, and supports integrations between F&O and upstream or downstream systems using Azure Integration Services, Data Management Framework (DMF), OData, REST APIs, and related technologies., • Designs and implements banking integrations with F&O and other financial institutions or related financial platforms, from technical specification through deployment and support., • Owns Data Management Framework (DMF) configuration and administrations, including entity mapping, data transformation, validation, import, and export processes., • Coordinates with Business Intelligence, Funds IT, Enterprise IT, and other stakeholders to identify, track, and resolve technical dependencies and integration requirements., • Collaborates with third-party system integrators and vendors while maintaining technical ownership of solution design, configuration, quality, and performance., • Designs, develops, and implements Agentic AI and intelligent automation solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI Services, and related Microsoft technologies., • Identifies opportunities for system enhancement, process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency through continuous evaluation, innovation, and hands-on prototyping; and, • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications (Competencies): • Eight (8) or more years of hands-on experience designing, configuring, developing, and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or AX 2012 solutions required, including direct technical implementation responsibilities rather than solely project management or oversight functions., • Demonstrated ability to independently configure, customize, and support F&O modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Bank & Cash Management, and Financial Reporting., • Hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform technologies, including Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps), Power Automate (Cloud and Desktop Flows), and Power BI., • Working knowledge of X++, Data Entities, Data Management Framework, OData, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 integration patterns., • Experience designing, configuring, and supporting Azure services, including Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, and Azure Functions, to support ERP integrations and business solutions; and, • Strong understanding of financial processes, chart of accounts design, and system integrations within complex multi-fund, multi-entity, or similarly complex financial environments.
