Job DescriptionCommercial Painter Pay: $30–$40/hour Location: Portland, OR (travel to job sites in a company-provided vehicle) Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Commercial Painter to join a growing team that specializes in commercial renovation, restoration, and painting projects. This role involves interior and exterior painting, drywall repair, surface preparation, and customer interaction while delivering high-quality workmanship on a variety of projects throughout the Portland area. Key Responsibilities • Perform interior and exterior painting on commercial properties., • Prepare surfaces through sanding, scraping, cleaning, masking, and priming., • Complete drywall repairs ranging from small patches to large reconstruction and remodeling projects., • Match existing textures and ensure surfaces are properly prepared for finishing., • Apply paints and coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment when required., • Conduct project walk-throughs with property owners and managers to discuss project scope and expectations., • Safely operate ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts to access work areas., • Inspect completed work and perform touch-ups as needed to maintain quality standards., • Move furniture and equipment as necessary to access workspaces., • Communicate effectively with supervisors, crew members, contractors, and customers throughout project completion., • Support both commercial and residential painting projects, providing steady year-round work opportunities.Required Qualifications, • Experience with commercial painting, paint preparation, drywall repair, and finishing., • Ability to operate paint sprayers and use a variety of painting tools and equipment., • Knowledge of drywall texturing and surface restoration techniques., • Strong communication and customer service skills., • Comfortable working at heights using ladders, lifts, and scaffolding.Preferred Qualifications, • Experience with carpentry, sandblasting, or powder coating., • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus., • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.Why Join Us?, • Competitive pay of $30–$40/hour., • Company-provided vehicle for travel between job sites., • Stable, year-round workload with a rapidly growing company., • Opportunities for long-term career growth and advancement., • Variety of projects that allow you to expand your painting and restoration skills.Work Environment Work is performed both indoors and outdoors at commercial and residential job sites throughout the Portland area.
