Our life is full and intentional, with work, family, school, and community all woven together. Both parents own their own businesses, so our days are dynamic, and no two weeks look exactly the same. We have four children attending three different schools, a sweet older dog, and a household that moves at a steady pace. We already have strong systems in place, including a regular housekeeper, lawn care, and established routines, but we've reached a point where we need one more steady, capable person to help make the day-to-day feel smoother and more manageable. This role is designed to be flexible and autonomous. While some responsibilities require hands-on support in our home, the role is intentionally designed to allow flexibility in where work is completed based on the day's priorities. We value clear boundaries and thoughtful use of time, and we are looking for someone who can exercise good judgment about where each task is best completed. Depending on the day's priorities, work may take place in our home, one of our business offices, another suitable workspace, or remotely when handling administrative responsibilities. More than anything, we're looking for someone who shows up with heart and genuinely cares about the family they support. This is not a formal estate role, and there is no hierarchy in our home. Every task has value, whether it's helping with a school pickup, putting away groceries, resetting a room, preparing food, managing an administrative project, or noticing something small that would make the day easier. The right person will be flexible, thoughtful, dependable, and willing to help wherever needed. No job is too large or too small. We hope to find someone who notices the details, takes pride in creating ease and calm, and is comfortable working both independently and alongside the family. We're thoughtful and intentional about the way we live, from the food we eat and the feeling of our home to the values we're teaching our children. Kindness, accountability, respect, and consideration for others are especially important to us, and we're looking for a house manager who will help reinforce those values through the way they communicate, support the family, and approach the day-to-day. Who You Are / What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who leads with kindness, takes genuine pride in supporting a family, and brings a calm, capable presence to the day-to-day. The ideal person is warm, dependable, detail-oriented, and equally comfortable preparing school lunches, coordinating a vendor visit, managing errands, or resetting a room. This role is best suited for someone with an operator mentalitysomeone who sees the bigger picture, takes responsibility for outcomes, and approaches the household with the same level of thoughtfulness and care they would bring to their own home. Rather than waiting for a list of instructions, this person naturally notices what needs attention, anticipates what may be coming next, and takes thoughtful action. The primary responsibility is helping the family, household, and businesses run smoothly. Priorities will naturally evolve from week to week, so success is less about completing the same checklist and more about using sound judgment to determine where support is most valuable. We appreciate someone who enjoys creating helpful systems, improving processes, and quietly solving problems before they become disruptions. Strong communication, flexibility, and discretion are also essential. Because this role provides access to the family's children, home, schedules, finances, and businesses, trust is the foundation of the position. The qualities below are especially important to the family and will help the right person thrive in this role.
