Job Description Supply Attendant I – Warehouse and Materials Support Location: Portland, OR Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Assignment Duration: Through December 23, 2026 Work Arrangement: Onsite Position Overview We are seeking a dependable and organized Supply Attendant to support warehouse, materials, and supply-room operations for a telecommunications network organization. This position will manage materials across two local garage locations in the Portland area. Responsibilities include receiving deliveries, maintaining inventory, stocking materials, organizing storerooms, processing receipts, and staging supplies and equipment for network technicians and construction teams. This is a hands-on position that requires reliability, attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to perform physical warehouse duties. Key Responsibilities • Maintain organized and properly stocked supply rooms and garage locations, • Receive UPS, freight, and other material deliveries, • Verify shipments for accuracy, shortages, overages, and damage, • Process goods receipts and inventory transactions in SAP or similar systems, • Consolidate and stage materials for network and construction projects, • Stock shelves, bins, cages, and designated storage locations, • Monitor inventory levels and identify when additional materials must be ordered, • Coordinate delivery appointments and material pickups by phone, email, or other communication methods, • Identify and redirect lost or misdirected shipments, • Maintain delivery records, receipts, and other required documentation, • Keep storerooms, garages, and secured material areas clean, safe, and orderly, • Operate pallet jacks and other approved material-handling equipment, • Support other supply attendants and warehouse locations as needed, • Communicate with technicians, managers, vendors, and contractors, • Follow all company and OSHA safety procedures, • Perform additional warehouse and supply-chain duties as assigned Required Qualifications • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record, • Ability to drive a manual-transmission vehicle, • Ability to travel locally between two assigned work locations, • Basic computer proficiency, including:, • Email, • Microsoft Teams, • Microsoft Word, • Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet programs, • Ability to accurately enter and maintain inventory data, • Strong organizational and communication skills, • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds regularly, • Ability to perform strenuous physical warehouse activities, • Ability to work indoors and outdoors during varying seasonal temperatures, • Ability to safely use stepladders to access overhead shelving, • Willingness to complete required safety and equipment training Preferred Qualifications • Previous warehouse, stockroom, shipping, receiving, or distribution experience, • Experience with SAP, S4, CART, or another inventory-management system, • Familiarity with telecommunications, construction, cable, or fiber materials, • Experience supporting field technicians or construction teams, • Knowledge of electrostatic discharge handling procedures, • One to three years of related experience Entry-level candidates, recent high school graduates, and college graduates with strong reliability and transferable experience are encouraged to apply. Forklift and Equipment Requirements The selected candidate must be willing and able to complete any company-required training or certification before independently operating forklifts or other powered material-handling equipment. Work Environment This position works within an established supply-chain team that values cooperation, communication, and shared responsibility. The selected candidate will receive approximately one week of job shadowing and hands-on training. The work includes standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, stocking shelves, receiving deliveries, and working in both indoor and outdoor environments. Occasional overtime may be required when deliveries are delayed or operational needs arise.
