Job DescriptionDesign Analyst Location: Midland, TX (100% Onsite) Duration: 6-Month Contract with Possible Extension and Potential for Permanent Hire Schedule: Monday–Friday, Flexible Start Time (Approximately 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Design Analyst to support project coordination, customer communication, and administrative operations within a fast-paced design and project management team. This role serves as a key point of contact for both internal departments and external customers, ensuring projects are initiated accurately, tracked effectively, and completed on schedule. Key Responsibilities • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries received through phone calls, emails, walk-ins, and internal ticketing systems., • Provide outstanding customer service while handling routine and complex customer conversations professionally., • Review customer project information for accuracy and request clarification when needed., • Initiate new projects by gathering requirements, establishing project records, and coordinating project setup., • Assign projects to appropriate team members based on workload and geographic area., • Monitor project progress and maintain accurate tracking of assignments, milestones, and completion dates., • Track project statuses and prepare workload reports for leadership as requested., • Communicate with internal operations teams regarding project updates and order clarification., • Support process improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and workflow., • Assist with data collection, reporting, and analysis to support departmental initiatives., • Prioritize multiple assignments while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment., • Learn and utilize internal software systems used for scheduling, reporting, project tracking, and work management.Qualifications, • Experience in customer service, administrative support, project coordination, data analysis, or a related role., • Strong customer service skills with the ability to confidently handle high-volume phone calls and challenging conversations., • Excellent organizational and time management skills., • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail., • Strong verbal and written communication skills., • Comfortable learning new software applications and internal business systems., • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.Technical Skills, • Microsoft Excel, • Microsoft Word, • Microsoft Outlook, • Microsoft PowerPoint, • Microsoft Access, • Microsoft SharePoint, • Data Tracking & Reporting, • Project Coordination, • Customer Service, • Process Improvement, • Administrative SupportPreferred Qualifications, • Experience with process improvement methodologies., • Lean Six Sigma training or certification., • Experience in data analysis or performance reporting., • Experience working with project tracking, scheduling, dispatching, or work management systems.Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a quick learner with strong customer service skills who enjoys solving problems, managing multiple priorities, and supporting project operations.
